5/15/24 - The youngest day I'll ever be

Yesterday, I checked out a May issue of the NHK's Radio Spanish course at the bookstore. To my disappointment, I didn't remember much of what I had listened to on the radio. I realized I needed to purchase the textbook to fully understand and learn the contents, as it's difficult for me to learn a language only by listening to it. 

So, I went to the bookstore near my house today and purchased the textbook, which was the last copy as June issues would arrive on the 18th. Although I haven't been studying Spanish very seriously, I recognize that it will only get harder as I grow older.

I mustn't postpone what I want to do right now, because today is the youngest day I'll ever be.

P.S. 昨日書店で「まいにちスペイン語」の5月号 (May issue) を立ち読みしたのですが、聴いたはずの部分を覚えておらず、がっかりでした。私は目から勉強するタイプなのでやはり聴いているだけでは抜けてしまう部分が多いです。

結局今日近所の書店で5月号を購入しました。18日に次の月のテキストが発売されるので、最後の1冊 (the last copy) でした！太字で大きめの文字が読みやすいですし、会話の内容も良い感じです。（たまにファンタジーのような話の学期がありますが、動物がしゃべったり宇宙人が出てくるような内容は好きになれず、聴くのを断念したこともあります。）

やりたいことを先延ばしにして(postphone) もどんどん年を取ってますます難しくなってしまいますし、やりたいことはどんどんやらないといけませんね。「今日が（この先の中で）一番若い日」ですから。
