5/26/24 - Creative scones

One of my students enjoys baking cakes. He is especially interested in eating and baking delicious scones. Today, during the class, he said he had found creative scones on a website, baked by the owner of a tea shop. I googled the shop and saw a variety of scones, such as two-layer scones with two different flavors.

It seems that a single person both bakes scones and runs the shop. Probably that's the reason the shop is open only on weekends and sells scones mainly online. The scones sold online seem to sell out quickly. My student said, "I'm going to research the shop this afternoon for the first time." I got curious about the shop, so I asked him to report to me about it and its scones in the next class. Now, I have a craving for delicious scones!

P.S. 焼き菓子を作るのが趣味の生徒さん（男性）が、変わったスコーンをネットで見つけたとのこと。週末しか開いていないので今日の午後にリサーチしに行くそうです。

Googleで調べたところ府中市にあるそのお店はもともとは紅茶屋さんのようですが、主にネットでスコーンを販売しているらしいです。日曜の午後6時からネットで注文を受け付けるとか。リサーチの結果を次回の授業で聞いてから、購入してみようかと思います。（私の家からは少し遠いので…。）いまとってもスコーンが食べたくなりました！
