4/17/24 - A notebook for recurring characters

 I enjoy watching police stories. However, I often become confused about the characters in TV drama series, so I take notes on A4 size paper, jotting down the names and descriptions. 

These drama series often include so many characters. So I write the names of police officers and their families and friends at the bottom of the paper because they are likely to appear every episode. 

The day before yesterday, I realized it would be more efficient to write the recurring characters' information in a small notebook for reference rather than jotting them down at the bottom of the paper at each episode. 

So far, the system seems to be working. Whenever I need to refresh my memory about a character, I can simply refer to my notebook to get information. I intend to use this system for the mystery book series I keep reading.

P.S. 以前にも書いたのですが、刑事物のドラマシリーズを複数観ているため、登場人物の顔と名前が覚えられないので、A4の紙に名前と特徴などを書いています。

以前は出てきた順に書いていたのですが、20人くらい出てきたりすると、訳が分からなくなるため、シリーズ物は繰り返し登場する (recurring) 警察関係の人物（←大体良い人たち）を紙の下の方 (at the bottom) に書くようになりました。（上のほうはその他の怪しい人たち…）

でも紙の数がどんどん増え、毎回出てくる人の情報を書くのは効率が悪いことに一昨日（the day before yesterday) 気付き、小さめのノートの右上にドラマのタイトルを書いて、メインのメンバーの情報を書くようにしました。こうすると「この人誰だっけ？」と思ったときにすぐに確認できてなかなかよいです。（なので、毎回違う「悪人、怪しい人」だけA4にメモして、一件落着後にそれは捨てています。

ミステリーの本も、シリーズの物をいくつか読んでいるので、この方法を採用しようと思います。
