5/16/24 - Smart glasses

I recently heard on the news about an 18-year-old man wearing smart glasses to cheat on an entrance exam. Although he may have been desperate to pass the exam, such an act is inexcusable.

However, what surprised me even more was that devices like smart glasses are now available to the general public. I thought they only existed in spy movies like "007."

While technological advancements are usually beneficial, they also raise concerns.

P.S. スマートグラスを使って入試で不正をした (cheat on) という学生のことをニュースで聞きました。もちろん、不正は許されない(inexcusable)ことですが、それより驚いたのはスマートグラスの存在です。（スパイ映画の中のモノだと思っていました！）

技術の進歩 (technological advancements) はたいていの場合は良いことですが、犯罪に悪用されることも多いので心配になります。
