こんにちは！

今回はIELTS Speaking Part1のモデルアンサーを紹介します！

どのように答えるべきか？
どんなイディオムを使うのか？

そんな疑問の答えになっていければよいかなと思います！

・目安：30語前後
・イディオムばかりでは、くどいのでたまに使う。
・質問と同じ構文をなるべく使わないようにする

以下がモデルアンサーになります！

1. THE CITY YOU LIVE IN

1 What city do you live in?
I live in Saitama city now. I moved there a decade ago for my work. It is popular among residents, because almost all of necessary items are easily available.

2 Do you like this city? Why?
Definitely, yes. I have been attracted since moving to the city, because it offers many kinds of amusements such as theater, sports ground or library.

3 How long have you lived in this city?
Actually, I’ve lived in the city for only 10 years. But, if I change my job, I will live in the city where my office is located.

4 Are there big changes in this city?
Well, to be honest, I don’t pay much attention to changes of the city, but the station has been expanded and many stores including bread shop or ramen shop have been introduced.

5 Is this city your permanent residence?
Definitely, no. I have an intention to live in Tokyo in the near future, because my present office is far from the city I live in now.

2. FAVORITE DAY

1 What is your favorite day of the week?
I would choose Friday, because Friday is my day off and almost all places where I go are not crowded. On the other hand, Sunday is when most stores are so full of customers that I have to wait for a long time.

2 What is your least favorite day?
Monday is the day I dislike most, because I don’t want to work. So, it is often called “blue Monday”, which means that people feel depressed on Monday.

3 What is the busiest day of the week for you?
Actually, Monday makes me busiest, because I have to check and reply the emails arriving on weekends. Also, the number of messages from clients is larger than the other days.

4 Is there anything that you do every day?
As soon as I get to my workplace, I check emails and reply. After that, I clean the room with the use of the vacuum cleaner and open the windows. I don’t want to work in a dusty and dirty room.

5 What do you usually do on weekends?
Actually, I work on Saturdays as usual, while I try to make myself refreshed on Sundays by going shopping or playing sports with my friends.

6 Are weekdays and weekends the same for you?
Definitely no. On weekends, I don’t want to go out because all places are packed with people, while on weekdays, I can buy items and eat anything I like without waiting so long.
