O’Reilly 本を定額でオンライン購読する
技術書で有名な O’Reilly は O'Reilly Online Learning というオンラインサービスを提供しており、オライリー本の電子書籍だけでなく、イベント動画やハンズオンコースなどが提供されています。
サービスは Webブラウザ からだけでなく、 iPhone や iPad からでも豊富な機能を備えたアプリケーションを利用できます。
2022年6月までは ACM (Association for Computing Machinery)の会員であれば、年間99米ドルの会員費で この O'Reilly Online Learning が利用できたのですが、2022年7月1日以降は ACM会員 へのサービスとしては利用できなくなってしまいました。

次のような記事を読み、 2021年夏頃に ACM会員 登録してサービスを使っていたのですが、わずか1年足らずでサービス解約することになり残念な限りです。
ACM会員 で O'Reilly Online Learning を使っていた方向けに、 2022年7月15日 まで限定で 399米ドル で年間契約できるキャンペーンがあったのですが、気づくのに遅れて申し込むことができませんでした。

いまから O'Reilly Online Learning の個人会員になるには、 Create Your Account: O'Reilly からプランを選択してユーザー登録することになります。
2023年1月6日時点では、次のプランが提供されていました。

Three Month: $129
Annual: $499
一番費用単価が安い Annual プラン でも $499（ 67,365 円 | 135.0 円 / ドル ）と7万円近い金額になってしまうので、1万数千円で利用できていた ACM会員 時代と比べると、なかなか手が出しづらいのは確かです。
ただし、提供されている機能は「さすがオライリー」と言えるほど、充実したコンテンツと使い勝手の良いアプリケーションになっているので、 O'Reilly 本を年間数冊は購入しており、たびたび参照するような機会のある方にとっては支払う価値のあるサービスだと思います。
