Teenagers should avoid using social media. 

Recently, many people have been using social networking services.
However, I believe teenagers should avoid using social media. 
There are two reasons to support my opinion.

Firstly, 
in terms of safety, it is dangerous for teenagers to use social media.

There is a possibility that they may encounter people who are criminals and become involved in cybercrimes.

To protect teens, parents and teachers sometimes need to block certain apps to avoid fraud or cyberbullying.

Therefore, online communities are not safe but risky for teens.

Secondly, 
if the teens do not have a high level information literacy skills, 
they should not use social media.

Since many social platforms might involve fake news and misinformation, 
they have to determine whether the information is true or not.

Moreover, if they believe in misinformation, they might lead to bad decisions. 

In conclusion, for these two reasons stated above, 
I believe teenagers should avoid using social media.
