Homo Sapiensホモ・サピエンス

Do you like koalas or kangaroos?

They are so cute and native to Australia.

About 45,000 years ago, however, they were bigger than now.

Kangaroos were about 2 meters tall and weigh 200 kilograms.

Koalas were too large to carry in our arms.

Why?

A famous historian,  Yuval Noah Harari, said in his book titled Homo Sapiens.

Homo sapiens landed in Australia Continent from Africa.
They were good at hunting, and perform slash-and-burn agriculture. As a result, almost native species in Australia had gone extinct and some had become smaller.

In this way, humans have run the world.

Recently, the current extinction of plants, animals, marine life has been largely occuring due to 'greenhouse gases'

What should we do personally?

It's important for us to learn from history and to think about it as own personal matters.

I need to respect more for the nature and pay attention to the preservation of all animal species.

That's all, thank you.
