すでに今月はKindle Unlimited情報の落ち穂拾いに入っているのですが、久しぶりに洋書の探索をしています。
本日は、久しぶりに音楽ジャンルをブラウズしていて見つけたものを記録しておきます。

タイトルと表紙に目を惹かれたのでしたが、よくよく見ると著者がなんとGenya Ravan！！！
アメリカのロック歌手で、非常にパワフルなボーカルを聴かせてくれます。60年代中頃から活動していますから、ジャニス・ジョプリンとも活動時期は重なっているのですが、知名度を比べると大きな差があるでしょう。
そして単に女性ロッカーであるだけでなく、プロデューサー業など音楽ビジネス業にも携わっていたのです。パンクロックグループのプロデュースなどもやっていたようです。
こんな回顧録を出していたんですね。
ついでに動いている姿が見られる映像をいくつか探してみました。

これもなんとなくタイトルからストーンズがらみの本かな、と思いつつよく見たら、ベーシストのビル・ワイマンの本でした（笑）。
先月くらいにはThe Whoのロジャー・ダルトリーの自伝とか、デボラ・ハリーの伝記とかも見つけましたが、探せばまだあったんですね。
読み放題のめぼしいものチェックでしたが、ついでに存在を知らなかった本を見つけたのでちょっと得した気分です（笑）。

デビッド・ボウイと契約を交わした人らしい。他にもビッグネームが沢山。
