ブロックで定点観測　３D-Self Interview with LSP. 14th October 2023

　レゴブロックを使って自分の状況を表現して内省する取り組みをしています。
　今回は2023年10月14日に作った自分の状況についての定点観測です。

I am working on using LEGO bricks to express and reflect on our own situation once a month. This time it is a fixed point observation about my situation that I made on 14 October 2023.

2023年10月14日の定点観測モデル（正面）
Fixed-point model on 14 October 2023 (front)

・中央にいるのが自分で手にはつるはしを持っている。つるはしは「掘り起こし」の比喩である。掘り起こしたいのは日本のLSPファシリテーターコミュニティの価値ある取り組み。
  The one in the centre is himself, holding a pickaxe in his hand. The pickaxe is a metaphor for 'digging up'. What we want to dig up is a valuable initiative of the Japanese LSP facilitator community.
・自分から見て左手にある黄色のプレートは日本のファシリテーターコミュニティを表している。花が咲いている結果の出ている取り組みもあれば、芽が出たばかりのコミュニティもある。
The yellow plate on the left hand side from myself represents the facilitator community in Japan. Some initiatives are showing results with flowers blooming, while others are communities that are just starting to sprout.
・自分から見て右手にある黒のプレートは今の自分の取り組み。いろいろと取り組んでいるがバラバラな印象を受ける。改めて整理する必要があると感じる気持ちが表れている。
The black plate on the right hand side from myself is my current initiative. I am working on a lot of things but they seem disjointed. It shows my feeling that I need to organise again.

・自分の後ろに伸びているのは、グローバル・ミーティングで感じた世界のコミュニティのイメージ。緑色：ヨーロッパ、灰色：インド、ピンク：南アメリカ、赤：北アメリカ、黄緑：アジアのイメージ。緑やピンクの上にあるのはアイデアや取り組みの存在のメタファーである。世界には、いろいろなところに面白い人やアイデアがあるということを表している。
Extending behind me is the image of the world community as perceived at the global meeting. Green: image of Europe, grey: India, pink: South America, red: North America, yellow-green: Asia. On the green and pink are metaphors for the presence of ideas and initiatives. It represents the fact that there are interesting people and ideas in different parts of the world.
・自分のいる足元のオレンジのプレートは、グローバル・ミーティングで受けたエネルギーである。その上に透明の赤と黄色の透明パーツは、アイデアを煮込むための鍋をイメージしている。日本の良いこと、世界の良いことを煮込んで新しい価値を作りたいという気持ちを表している。
The orange plate at the foot of where I am is the energy I received at the global meeting. The transparent red and yellow transparent parts on top of it represent a pot for stewing ideas. It represents the desire to create new values by stewing the good things in Japan and the good things in the world.
・ベージュの細く伸びているパーツの先には、回転する羽根の上に目玉のパーツがある。世界をよく見渡して視野を広げなければという気持ちが表れている。

ここからは前月のモデルとの比較を行ってみる。

・9月は手にペンをもっていたが、10月はつるはしである。ペンは考えたことを書き留めるイメージだが、つるはしは積極的に情報を探していく、そして何かを生み出すイメージとつながっている。
In September, I had a pen in my hand, while a pickaxe in October. The pen is an image of writing down thoughts, while the pickaxe is connected to the image of actively searching for information and creating something.
・9月はすべて自分の取り組みだったが、10月は自分の取り組みは25％ぐらいで残りの25％は日本の状況、50％は世界の状況というように表現の領域構成が変わった（視野が大きくなった）。
In September, all the efforts were my own, but in October, the composition of the area of expression changed (the field of vision became larger), with about 25% of the efforts being my own, the remaining 25% being the situation in Japan and 50% the situation in the world.
・9月でも高いところから見るという意識は表現されていたが、10月ではさらに高いところから見る意識が表れている。ただし、9月のほうが地に足ついた安定した足場である。10月は不安定である。
The awareness of looking from a higher place was also expressed in September, but in October the awareness of looking from an even higher place is expressed. However, September was a more grounded and stable platform; October is unstable.
・8月、9月に引き続き、10月もほぼLSP関係が中心の表現になっている。LSP関連事以外の状況表現がほとんどない。
Following on from August and September, the representation in October is almost exclusively LSP-related; there is very little representation of situations other than LSP-related matters.

昨年（2022年10月）との比較 Comparison with last year (Oct 2022)

・昨年はグローバル・ミーティングではたくさんの課題を持って帰ってきた。今年も同じように課題はたくさん得られたが、今年はアクティブな動き（昨年は座っていたが今年は立っている）につながっている。
Last year I came back from the Global Meeting with a lot of challenges. This year I got many of the same challenges, but this year it has led to active movement (last year I was sitting, this year I am standing).
・昨年の今頃は、自分のLSPの取り組みがうまく動いていないことを嘆いている。それに対して今年は自分の取り組みが取り散らかっていることを嘆いている。
This time last year, I lamented that my LSP initiatives were not working. In contrast, this year I am lamenting the fact that my initiatives are scattered.
・昨年は、研究の成果をまとめるという課題がある。今年はそれが消えているがその課題が無くなったわけではない。優先順位が後退しているということである（あまり良くない兆候であるかもしれない）。
Last year, the challenge was to summarise the results of the research. This year, that has disappeared, but that does not mean that task has gone away. It means that priorities are receding (which may not be a good sign).

出来事のプレイ Playing Emergence

　ここではモデルに関して、３つほど今後起きる出来事を想定し、それに対して想定される自分の反応から適応の行動指針を探る。
　In this section, three or so future events are envisaged with regard to the model, and the possible personal reactions to these events are used to explore the behavioural guidelines for adaptation.

【出来事１：来年度に向け新たな講師依頼の提案が来る】
＜もたらされる影響＞
　依頼を受けると自分の研究の整理にかける時間が失われる。
＜自分が取りそうな判断＞
　研究や取り組みの整理に連動しそうならば受ける。そうでなければ受けない。
＜その判断は正しいか？なぜ正しいのか？＞
　正しい。これまでを整理することで、より今後の取り組みがより効果的なものになる可能性を高める。

Event 1: I receive a proposal for a new teaching assignment for the next academic year.
<Impact>
If I accept the request, I will lose time to organise my research.
<Decision>
If it is likely to be linked to the organisation of my research and initiatives, I will accept it. If not, I will not accept it.
<Is the decision correct? Why?>
Correct. By organising what has been done so far, it increases the likelihood that future work will be more effective.

【出来事２：家族間で伝染病がはやる】
＜もたらされる影響＞
　家族の看病やフォローアップで自分の行動量が制限される。
＜自分が取りそうな判断＞
　家族の看病を優先する。他の人との接触を避け、可能な限りリモートでの仕事に切り替える。限られた時間のなかでNoteの更新を最優先にする。
＜その判断は正しいか？なぜ正しいのか？＞
　正しい。普段の自分の生活も家族の支援あってこそである。最大限の恩返しの機会で、家族同士の信頼を深めることが他の活動にもプラスに働く。

Event 2: Contagious diseases spread among family members.
<Impact>
The amount of action taken by the family members is restricted due to nursing and follow-up.
<Decision>
Give priority to caring for family members. Avoid contact with others and switch to working remotely whenever possible. Give top priority to updating the Note in the limited time available.
<Is the decision correct? Why?>
Correct. My everyday life is only possible with the support of my family. This is an opportunity to give back to the family to the maximum extent possible and to deepen trust among family members, which will positively affect other activities.

【出来事３：研究室が火事になる】
＜もたらされる影響＞
　研究室に保管しているレゴ🄬ブロックほか、研究書籍へのアクセスができなくなる。
＜自分が取りそうな判断＞
　Kindleの書籍やWeb上で収集できる研究資料にアクセスを偏らせる。ブロックは買いなおす。
＜その判断は正しいか？なぜ正しいのか？＞
　一部は正しくない。Web上のものに集中することは、研究上の視野やバランスを崩すリスクがある。コストが嵩んでも必要なものは手に入れるべきである。そのためにも自分の取り組みの全体像を把握しておかねばならない。

Event 3: The laboratory catches fire.
<Impact>
Access to the LEGO🄬 bricks and other research books stored in the laboratory will be lost.
<Decision>
Bias access towards Kindle books and research materials that can be collected on the web. I will buy the blocks back.
<Is the decision correct? Why?>
Partially incorrect; concentrating on what is on the web risks upsetting research horizons and balance. You should get what you need, even if it costs more. To do this, you have to have a complete picture of your approach.

気づきと今後のステップ Insights and next steps

・自分のこれまでの取り組み全体の整理を意識する。Noteでも、より大きな私の研究のコンテクストの中にどう当てはまるかについて考えるようにする。
Be aware of organizing my previous efforts; even in Note, try to think about how it fits within the context of my larger research.
・海外のファシリテーターへの情報発信を意識する。昨年は1週間と経たずに発信がおろそかになってしまったので、その原因を探り、習慣化に向けて取り組む。
Continuing to give out information to facilitators abroad. Last year, dissemination was neglected after less than a week, so I will explore the reasons for this and work towards making it a habit.
・海外のファシリテーターの活動の動きも意識する。出版された本やLSPマガジンなど日本語以外の文献にも目を通すようにする。
Continuing to watch out developments in facilitator activities abroad: non-Japanese literature such as published books and LSP magazines.
