On Saturday, I went to the theatre with my parents.

土曜日は両親と一緒に劇場に行ったわ。

I saw Cinderella. It was an amazing show.

シンデレラを見たわ。素晴らしいショーだったわ。

What did you like the most?

何が一番よかった？

I liked the costumes and the songs.

衣装と歌がよかったわ。

What about Sunday? Did you do anything special?

日曜日はどうだったの？　何か特別なことした？

I read a book in the morning.

朝に本を読んで

Then I did my homework, though I didn't feel like it. But I knew I had to.

それから宿題をしたんだけど、やる気でなくってね。しなきゃなんないの分ってるんだけどね。

The weather was so beautiful and warm. So we went to a picnic in the afternoon.

とても天気が良くて暖かかったから、午後にピクニックへ行ったよ。

We ate some sandwiches and drank some fresh orange juice.

サンドイッチを食べて、フレッシュオレンジジュースを飲んだわ。

After lunch, we stood on the stream bank and fed the ducks.

昼食後、私たちは小川の土手に立ち、アヒルに餌をあげたの。

Then we took a nice stroll through the park.

A moment later it started to rain.

少ししたら雨が降ってきたので。

So we ran as fast as we could.

全力で走ったよ。

As soon as I got home, I took a hot bath.

家に帰ってすぐにお風呂に入ったわ。

I enjoyed spending time with my family.

家族との時間を楽しんだわ。

On Saturday I went shopping with my mam.

I needed a dress for my cousin's birthday party. So tried many dresses.

いとこの誕生日パーティーのためにドレスが必要でだったから、たくさんのドレスを試着したの。

ぴったりのドレスは見つかったの？

Yeah, I did. I found the perfect dress for the party.

ええ、見つかったわ。パーティーにぴったりのドレス。

So how was the party?

It was great fun! There were lots of beautiful decorations in the room.

すごい楽しかったよ。部屋の飾り付けもきれいだったし。

The cake looked amazing! My cousin blew out the candles and cut the cake.

すごいケーキだったわ！　いとこがキャンドルを消してケーキを切ってくれて。

We sang the birthday song.

バースデーソングを歌ったわ。

Then we played lots of games and I won many times!

その後、たくさんゲームをして、何回も勝ったよ。

Where was the party held?

パーティーはどこでやったの？

It was held at a party center.

パーティーセンター。

How was the food?

料理はどうだった？

The food was delicious, but I ate too much and felt a little sick.

料理はおいしかったけど、食べ過ぎて少し気分が悪くなっちゃった。

And I also drank too much juice.

あと、ジュースも飲みすぎちゃって。

So were you able to the end of the party?

最後まで大丈夫だったの？

Yes, I was, because I only started to feel sick at the end of the party.

ええ、気分が悪くなったのはパーティーの最後の方だけだったから。

When I got home, my mom made me some tea, and I felt much better after drinking it.

家に帰ったら、お母さんがお茶を入れてくれて、それを飲んだらだいぶ元気になったわ。

Anyway, I loved the party, it was awesome!

なにはともあれ、私はパーティーが凄い楽しかったわ！

I had a wonderful time this weekend, too.

僕も今週末はよかったよ。

We went to visit our grandparents on Saturday morning. We traveled by train.

土曜日の午前中に祖父母に会いに、電車でいったんだ。

It was a journey of around 3 hours and there was a lot to see outside the window.

約3時間の旅路で、窓の外には見るべきものがたくさんあった。

In the afternoon I went fishing in the boat with my grandpa for the first time.

午後には、初めておじいちゃんと船で釣りに行ったよ。

Really? Where did you go?

本当！？どこに行ったの？

We went to a lake not far away from his house.

おじいちゃんの家からそう遠くない湖にいったんだ。

He taught me cool stuff about fishing and I tried to do everything he said.

おじいちゃんは釣りについていいことを教えてくれて、私はおじいちゃんの言うことを全部やってみたんだ。

So did you catch any fish?

魚は釣れたの？

Yes, we did. We caught a lot of fish! I was so excited.

釣れたよ。めっちゃ釣れた。興奮したわ。

We took the fish home and later we had grilled fish for dinner. It was such a delicious meal!

釣った魚は家に持って帰って、あとで夕飯に焼き魚を食べたんだ。美味しかったよ。

I was really sad yesterday when I had to say goodbye to my grandparents.

昨日は、おじいちゃんおばあちゃんと別れるのが本当に悲しかったよ。

It was ok.

学校での授業は楽しかった？

I enjoyed the grammar lesson and the PE, but I didn't like Math. We had a test.

文法の授業と体育は楽しかったけど、数学は好きじゃなかった。テストがあったから。

I didn't do so well on the test. I made a few mistakes.

テストはイマイチだったわ いくつかミスをしたし。

The time I spent with my friends during recess was the best thing that happened today.
