ケアンズの引き潮とペリカン

今日、ありがたいことに、また写真が売れました。

嬉しい。

今回売れたのはエスプラのペリカンの写真。

これはケアンズに初めて来た時、インパクトがあった風景のひとつ。

エスプラの潮が引いた広大な背景に、集まったペリカン達がゆったりとのびのびしている様に癒されたのです。

後で知ったのですが、この場所は生態系的に重要で、何度もあった埋め立てを阻止したくらい。

日本からも来る渡り鳥達の憩いの場なんだそうです。

そんな思い出深い一枚が、近くに住んでいる方に買っていただき嬉しく、かつ光栄でございました！

Today, thankfully, another photo sold.
I am soooooo happy.
This time the photo that sold was of the pelicans in Esplanade.
This was one of the landscapes that made an impact on me when I first arrived in Cairns.
I was so relaxed by the sight of the pelicans gathered together, relaxing and taking it easy against the vast backdrop of the ebb tide at Esplanade.
I later learned that the site is so ecologically important.
It is a resting place for migratory birds that come from Japan as well.
I was happy and honored that such a memorable piece was purchased by someone who lives nearby!
