　　1518年、1519年、彼はフォンテーヌブローにいた。これは見逃せない事実です。皆さんもお気づきでしょうが、レオナルドが最晩年の3年、フランソワ一世に招かれてフランソワ1世の居城アンボワーズ城近くのクルーの館が邸宅として与えられていました。それは1516年から1519年なのです。1518年から1519年が重なります。アンドレア・デル・サルトとレオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチはフランソワ1世という共通項で結ばれると言えるのではないでしょうか。私はフランスの地理には詳しくないです。フォンテーヌブローとアンポワーズ？私はフランスの地理の知識がないのです。当初、早合点の私はフォンテーヌブローとアンポワーズが同じ場所だと思っていました。アンポワーズのレオナルドのクルーの館の近くにフォンテーヌブロー城、アンポワーズ城もあると考えていました。

　アンドレア・デル・サルトから見ればレオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチは憧れのスーパースターだったと思います。本人に会って絵画の教えを乞う気持ちは当然あったと思います。アンドレア・デル・サルトは既にある程度画家として成功していた頃なので自負心もあるでしょうし、自自分自身の絵画の理論をレオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチに聞いてもらいたい気持ちもあったのではないでしょうか？当時の宮廷や風習など私は知りません。私は気楽な気持ちでレオナルドとアンドレアは会っていたのではないか等と想像していました。しかしながらアンポワーズとフォンテーヌブローを調べてみると直線距離で160キロ以上離れています。そんなに頻繁に会えるものでもない。さて、どうなのでしょうか？現代の生活リズムで判断してはいけないとも思います。時間はゆっくりと流れていたに違いありません。あくまで私の想像でしかない事は言うまでもないです。
