　レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチは何を表現したかったのでしょうか？それは私には分かりません。仮説として言えることは沢山ありますが、私はそれを言いたくはない。皆さんそれぞれで考えた方が良いと思うのです。私は考察には興味があまりないようです。しかしこの絵はダイナミックな絵に変わることは確かです。私は考察しないと言いながら、今思いつきました。子羊の元へ行こうとするキリストを「行かないで」というポーズにも見えますね。多分、後世の画家もレオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチの絵を見て足の表現に影響を受けたのではないでしょうか？私にはそう思えて仕方ありません。こうやってみると幼児キリストの足と羊の足も意味がありそうです。
