Introduction

ちょっと忙しくて、残念ながらしばらく更新ができずにいます。

これまで勉強してた先生がお休みの期間は、別の先生（同じくハワイ在住）と勉強できることになりまして。（某オンラインレッスンのサービスを使って、先生と出会っています。）
その先生に、まずは、自己紹介とか絶対聞かれるだろう内容を、事前に台本用意して、覚えて、話せるようになるといいよとアドバイスを受け、先日よりトライしています。よく考えたら特に、仕事に関しては英訳してもらった文章もあるんだから、それを参考にして、スラスラ言えるくらい言い慣れたらいいんだよな・・。

というわけで。更新が滞っている言い訳を兼ねて、仕事のことを書きます。

I work at a theatre company as a producer. We based in Kyoto.
Our theatre group usually perform at a small theatre. We of cause use theatres but also temple, restaurant and any other place that is not necessarily a theatre.

We have some repertoire of play. One of them is a play about Japanese tea ceremony. It is a story about the person who started “wabi-cha”.
It is a play fusing together tea ceremony and acting. With the support of the Master of the Urasenke, we started making this play in 2004 and have then performed all over Japan.

We would like to perform this program also oversea someday.
We made the international version. In addition to the original Japanese cast, we had English speaking casts to act as type of translators.

We will stream live the English version on New year’s holiday.
