#112 移住ブームはホントだった。後編 (People want to move out from city area to rural?　- final)

いや、まさかシリーズ３まで続くとは。調べ始めると話したくなって、話が長くなるのはリサーチャー失格ですね（もう何年も調査の仕事はしてないですが。。。）いや、、リサーチャー失格というかエイジング？そういえば同じことを何回も話している気もする。説教とかはしてない、、、といいな。いや、そんなことを言っている場合ではないか。

前回のグラフではやはりコロナになって東京の人口は増えてはいるけれど、大分増える幅が以前よりも少なくなっているという感じに見えているという話でした。東京に来る人が少なくなったのか、東京から出る人が多くなったのか。

ちょっと字が細かすぎますね。すみません。またまたE-statの住民基本台帳人口移動報告からのデータになります。左は東京に入ってくる人（流入）、東京を出ていく人（流出）の数。入りが減って、出が増える両方。そして結局その差し引きで、東京に対して勝っている場所はどこなのかを示しているのが右のグラフです。基本的には2018年と比べると、2021年は東京に対して、勝っているもしくは流出割合が減っているところが大多数のようです。

少なくとも東京都を起点に見る限り、若干「地方への移住」感あり。郊外の神奈川、埼玉、千葉だけでなく福岡、北海道などでも2018年と比べると2021年は東京への流出が大きく減っているように見える（ざっくり）。福岡大人気（？）。いやー、、福岡いいですね。食べ物美味しいイメージだし、空港近いし海も山も近い（あまり行ったことない）。ちなみに僕の好きな沖縄はなんと東京からの流入超過！いやー、沖縄に住みたい人の気持ち分かるなぁ。

OK. This is the 3rd round and final round of this series of posts. I didn't expect that this would be this long. As a good researcher, explanation should be as simple and short as possible and I'm not counted as a good one anymore… Well I even haven't been involved in research project for a long time (Sad). Um? Is this just a researcher skill or an aging issue??? Come to think of it I recently feel that I talk about the same things often (which is considered as a sign of aging in Japan). Hope not.

The insight from the last post was that population in Tokyo grew in 2021 but the growth rate is lower than before. Is this that less people are moving to Tokyo or more people left from Tokyo?

Sorry for the busy chart above but they are also from E-stat (2022), government population stats. The left one is to show annual trend of inflow to Tokyo and outflow from Tokyo. Also the right is the comparison of 2018/2021 how much Tokyo lost or won against other prefectures. It seems while inflow to Tokyo decreased while outflow from Tokyo increased in annual trend. Then compared with 2018 most prefectures won more or lost less against Tokyo in 2021.

At least, the view from Tokyo shows that there is a slight of emigration trend in Japan. Winning prefectures against Tokyo are not only suburb area like Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba but also Rural area such as Fukuoka and Hokkaido (roughly). Ummmm, I'm really attracted by Fukuoka actually. Food food & close to the airport although I'm not so familiar with the place. By the way, my favorite Okinawa actually got more from Tokyo than lost! It is show only prefectures close to Tokyo and Okinawa shows its capability to be preferred by people in Tokyo! I'm actually very keen too. Okinawa is one of the place I want to live in future!
