もうすぐハロウィンですね！皆さんイベントの準備は万端ですか？

In recent years, we have started to hold Halloween events in Japan as well.
It is said that Tokyo Disneyland is the leading person who spread Halloween events in Japan.

近年、日本でもハロウィンイベントをするようになりました。
日本でハロウィンイベントを広めた第一人者は東京ディズニーランドだと言われています。

It's famous for holding large-scale Halloween events every year.
You can enjoy decorations and parades in the park for a limited time, Halloween limited goods and food, and it is crowded with many visitors every year.

毎年大規模なハロウィンイベントを開催することで有名ですね。
期間限定の園内のデコレーションやパレード、ハロウィン限定グッズやフードを楽しむことができ、毎年多くの来場者でにぎわいます。

Also, during Halloween, the costume of Disney characters, which is normally prohibited, will be lifted, and visitors can enjoy it.

またハロウィン期間は、普段禁止されているディズニーキャラクターの仮装が解禁され、来場者参加型で楽しめます。

ここから「ハロウィン」と「仮装」はセットで楽しむイメージが日本国内でも普及し、全国にハロウィンをテーマにした仮装パーティーが広がるようになりました。

At USJ, a Halloween event specializing in "horror" is characteristic.

またUSJでは、“ホラー”に特化したハロウィンイベントが特徴的です。

Zombies parade through the park, surprise visitors, and suddenly start dancing to music. The unique approach of "horror" x "entertainment" is attractive.
There will also be Halloween-only horror attractions.

園内をゾンビが練り歩き、来場者を驚かせたり、突如音楽にのって踊りだしたりと、“ホラー×エンタメ”のユニークな取り組みが魅力。
またハロウィン限定のホラーアトラクションも登場します。

このように大規模遊園地がハロウィンの火付け役となったため、日本のハロウィンは「大人が仮装して楽しむイベント」として定着しました。

そして日本のハロウィンと言えば、渋谷センター街です。

A large number of people, mainly young people, walk around the city of Shibuya.
The famous scrambled intersection in Shibuya is crowded with people like this.
The police were dispatched to control the traffic due to the large number of people.
Since a lot of taxes are used there, many people are dissatisfied.

若者を中心に大勢の人が仮想して、渋谷の街を歩きます。
渋谷のスクランブル交差点はこのような人だかり。
あまりの人の多さに警察が出動し交通整理をする事態に発展。
そこに多くの税金が使われるため、国民の不満も多く聞かれます。

This year, in order to reduce the number of people, Shibuya Ward has started an attempt to enjoy Halloween in "Virtual Shibuya" from October 26th.

今年は人出を抑えるため、10月26日から渋谷区が「バーチャル渋谷」でハロウィンを楽しもうという試みが始まっています。

In "Virtual Shibuya", the city of Shibuya is reproduced in detail such as the scrambled intersection in front of Shibuya station, the statue of the faithful dog Hachiko, and the sign of the building. It expresses the city of Shibuya with Halloween specifications, such as pumpkin floated in the air , which is not found in the actual city until Halloween on the 31st of this month.

「バーチャル渋谷」では、渋谷駅前のスクランブル交差点や忠犬ハチ公の銅像をはじめ、ビルの看板など細かなところまで渋谷の街が再現されていて、今月31日のハロウィーンまでの間、宙に浮いたかぼちゃなど、実際の街にはないハロウィーン仕様の渋谷の街が表現されています。

アバターと呼ばれる自分の分身で街を散策できるほか、仮想空間の中で、人気アーティストのライブを楽しめたり、オリジナルのグッズを購入できたりするということです。
