We're excited to announce the stable release of Android Studio 3.6,
with a targeted set of features addressing quality and code editing and debugging use cases.

"with a targeted set of features addressing quality in code editing and debugging use cases." ここはYouTubeのスクリプトが間違っていて"code editing"の前が"and"ではなく"in"で、その前の"quality"に掛かっているので、「コード編集とデバッグユースケースの質」ですね。

"target"は「ターゲットにする、目標・標的にする」で、何をターゲットにしているかというと、"set of features"「一連の機能を」ですね。で、その機能というのが"features addressing quality"なので、前述の「質」に"address"「取り組む」機能ということなので、「コード編集とデバッグユースケースの質に取り組んだ一連の機能をターゲットにしている」ということですね。

今回は違いますが、"address"はIT用語だと「メモリのアドレス」の意味で使われることが多いです。

Some highlights include a new way to quickly design, develop, and preview app layouts using XML, with a new split view in the design editors.

"some highlights include ..."は「ハイライトは〜を含んでいます」→「〜が注目点です」という感じですね。その後に機能が列挙されています。

We've also embedded Google Maps right into the Android Emulator Extended Control Panel.

引き続き、Android関係のニュースで、Android 11のdeveloper previewがリリースされたというニュースです。

"foldables"は「折りたたみ（できる端末）」のことですね。最近だと、Galaxy Z Flipのように縦に折りたたむタイプも出てきましたね。

Firebase Crashlytics SDK Beta (Firebase)

CrashlyticsがFirebaseに統合されたことによるSDKリリースの案内です。

If you've already migrated from Fabric to the Firebase Console, you can now also make the migration from the Fabric APIs in your code to the recently announced Firebase Crashlytics SDK beta.

"migrated from Fabric to the Firebase Console" "migrate"はIT業界頻発英語で「移行する、マイグレートする」。FabricはCrashlyticsを含むツール郡で、TwitterからGoogleに買収されたサービスです。

ちなみにCrashlyticsは当初は独立したサービスで、Twitterに買収されてからFabricとしてリブランドされました。その時もマイグレーションが必要だったので、ずっと使っている人は2回めのマイグレーションですねw

The Firebase Crashlytics SDK beta is open source and designed to be intuitive and consistent with all other Firebase SDKs.

"intuitive"「（直感的で）使いやすい」、"consistent"「一貫性のある」は、APIやツール類を形容するのによく使われる言葉ですね。

Kubeflow 1.0リリースについてのニュースです。

Kubeflow 1.0 was released this week, which provides a Kubernetes-native platform for developing, orchestrating, deploying, and running scalable and portable ML workloads.

"orchestrating"は音楽のオーケストラを動詞・動名詞化したもので「（オーケストラのように）組織する」というような意味ですね。ビジネス用語としては部署などを組織する、編成するというような意味で使われ、IT,主にクラウド業界では複数のクラウドサーバーを構築、運用することの意味で使われます。「クラウドオーケストレーション」ということもあります。

You can use Kubeflow on any Kubernetes-conforming cluster.

"kubernetes-native", "kubernetes-conforming"のようにハイフンで繋がった言葉は複合語(compound words)というようですね。"-native"は「デジタル・ネイティブ」や「スマホ・ネイティブ」のように日本語でも使われるので意味はわかると思います。
"-conforming"は”conform"が「従う、従わせる」の意味なので、「Kubernatesの規則・週間にしたがった」という意味ですね。

"cluster"は世間では「ウィルス感染者集団」の意味で使われがちですが、クラウド業界で使われる場合は"cluster compiting"から来ていて、「コンピュータの集合体」です。

New API Manager in Cloud Code (Cloud)

Cloud CodeというVSCodeやIntelliJとったエディタ、IDEで使える、Google Cloud APIをアプリに追加しやすくするプラグインの更新情報です。

We announced a new API Manager for Cloud Code.

The Cloud Code API Manager further enhances the existing Cloud Code feature set within your favorite IDE to make it easy to add Google Cloud APIs to your application.

"further enhances"「さらに向上させる」なので、その後で説明する機能はすでにあるものだということですね。

This includes the ability to browse and enable Google Cloud APIs, access detailed documentation, and install corresponding client libraries with support for Python, Java, Node.js, and Go.

"Python, Java, Node.js, and Go"はサポートするプログラミング言語ですね。Node.jsは厳密には言語ではないのですが、このように一つの言語のような扱いになることもあります。

Go言語についてのニュースです。

We are pleased to announce the release of a major revision of the Go API for protocol buffers.
We also recently released Go 1.14.

"protocol buffers"はGoogle製のデータシリアライズの仕組みです。データシリアライズというのは、ネットワーク間での通信などのためにデータを変換することです。やや立ち位置は違いますが、JSONやXMLと比較されこともあるものです。

AI学習用の画像データセットについてのニュースです。

We released version 6 of the popular Open Images data set, with a large set of new visual relationships and human action annotations, like a dog catching a flying　disk and a woman jumping.

"annotation"「注釈」の意味で、AIの学習用に使われる画像の追加情報のことですね。プログラミング界隈ではアノテーションというと、特殊な記法、キーワードを挿すこともあります。

This release also adds localized narratives, a completely new form of multi-modal annotations that consist of synchronized voice, text, and mouse traces over the objects being described.

このリリースでは様々な情報が追加されています。
"localized narrative"は"narrative"が「物語」で「翻訳された物語」、"new form of multi-modal annotations"「マルチモーダルアノテーションの新しい形式」"modal"は「様式」の意味なので日本語に訳すなら"multi-modal annotations"で「複数様式の注釈」ということですね。

まとめ

今回はモバイル、クラウド共にツール関係のリリースが多く、技術的に面白い回だったと思います。

英語表現も、完全な固有名詞等ではなく、IT業界で使いがちな言い回しなどがいくつか出てきました。

「リリースしました」だけの短いニュースもリンク先を読むとまた勉強になるので、興味のある分野はブログの方も読むことをオススメします。
