COVID-19 イギリスの状況記録 20/03/2020

上の動画は私が録画した。私のロンドンの近所のビジネス街の様子。

金曜日から、すべてのパブ・飲食店やクラブなどが運営を中止しました。政府は自宅に留まり出来るだけ外出しないことを促し続けています。ボリス・ジョンソンは今日、もし人々が出かける際に責任を持てず、またルールに沿って行動できない場合はさらに厳しい処置＝ロックダウンを始めるより他ないと発言してました。

私たちはほとんど家を離れず生活していて、土曜日に新鮮な空気を吸いに、近所の公園まで散歩に行きました。もちろん、マスクをして、グローブもした状態でです。そのうえで、人々とできるだけ距離をとりました。
そして公園についたとき、かなり多くの人が、マスクもせず、人との距離もあまり気にせず公園に集まっていることに驚きました。それどころか、いくらかの人たちは私たちがまるで、狂っているかのような視線で見てきました。

私たちも同じように公園に行きましたし、その人たちに出かけるなと言っているわけではありません。みんな気分転換をする必要があるのはわかっています。でも、そこにいる人たちは世界で何が起こっているのか、全然気にしていないように見えました。
この前の木曜日にパブが閉まる前には、政府が繰り返し警告をしているにも関わらず、近所のパブでは人々が社交しているのを見ました。
スーパーでは、依然として物資がもどらず。まだ、一度も一袋のパスタや米、お肉や卵をまったく買えませんでした。

I am so thankful for everyone who texted me how I am doing, I am fine here, haven't got infected!

Now no need to talk about how many new cases are here as it's been already "Many". Since last Friday, all pubs, restaurants and clubs are closed. The government keeps urging us to self-isolate and not to go out as much as possible. Today, Boris Johnson warned us if people cannot be responsible for going out and also they cannot follow the rules, they have to start tougher rules which means lockdown or banning going out.

We wanted to take fresh air, so we took a walk to a park nearby. Of course, we wear a mask and gloves. And tried to keep a distance from people as much as possible.
Then when we arrived at the park, we're very surprised that there were so many people gathering in the park, without wearing masks and they didn't even care about distancing with people at all. Some people looked at us as if we're crazy.

I'm not saying that they shouldn't go there as we also did the same and people do need to refresh. But, most of the people there seemed they don't care what's happening to the world.
On last Thursday, I also saw some people were socialising in a local pub. Despite the government's repeated warning.
Supermarkets' supplies are not recovered yet. I haven't seen any single pack of pasta or rice, and fresh meat and eggs. We are still having stock, so should be fine for a while but I am not sure if it's going to last longer than I thought.
