Japanese Koyabo Stone Lantern

This time, I introduce an unique styled Japanese stone lantern. This stone lantern is called Koyabo (小屋棒）. It is made of Kimachi sandstone, Shimane Prefecture.
It is said that this type of stone lantern is for lighting up path.  Therefore, there is a space backside to place a light. You could place a small candle or an electric candle here.

This sandstone is brown color. It suits well on Japanese garden. Since we place it outside for a long time, it gets old, especially its umbrella. Its height is about 85 cm.
