「紙上変形曼陀羅」にチャレンジ　　【仏画曼陀羅アート】 　Challenge to "paper deformed mandala"

泉佐野教室の皆さんへの課題は、大日如来を中心に如来4体と菩薩4体で構成される胎蔵曼荼羅の中心にあたる「中台八葉院」の制作である。

The task for everyone in the Izumisano classroom is the production of "Nakadai Hachiyoin," which is the center of the Fetal Mandala, which consists of four Nyorai and four Bodhisattva, centered on Dainichi Nyorai.

今回のチャレンジは、その中台八葉院を縦形状の作品で構成する「紙上変形曼陀羅」というものにチャレンジしている。
まずは、中心に位置する大日如来と、大日如来の周りをかためる観世音菩薩・弥勒菩薩・普賢菩薩・文殊菩薩の菩薩4体の計5体の仏画に般若心経を組み合わせ制作。仏画は異なるが同じテーマ。それぞれの独創力で仕上げている。菩薩4体についてはご覧の通り、構成や色彩も自在に表現していく取り組みなので、ユニークな作品群になった。

This challenge is to challenge the "paper deformed mandala" that composes the Nakadai Hachiyoin with vertical works. First of all, a total of 5 Buddhist paintings, including Dainichi Nyorai, which is located in the center, and Kanzeon Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra, and Manjushri Bodhisattva, are combined to create a total of 5 Buddhist paintings. Buddhist paintings are different but the same theme. It is finished with each originality. As you can see, the four Bodhisattva bodies are unique because they are an effort to freely express the composition and colors.

その第一弾が写真にあるようにメンバー5名が1体を担当し、全員で作りあげた変形曼陀羅。それを昨日から、泉佐野市生涯学習センターの展示ケースに展示させていただいている。半年間使えるので、現在制作中の、一人で5体すべてを描く「変形曼陀羅」を交互に展示していく予定である。

As you can see in the photo, the first one is a modified mandala created by all five members in charge of one body. Since yesterday, we have been exhibiting it in the exhibition case of the Izumisano City Lifelong Learning Center. Since it can be used for half a year, we are planning to alternately exhibit the "Transformed Mandala" that is currently being produced and draws all five bodies by one person.
