自由に表現できる楽しさはひとしお 　The fun of being able to express freely is special

先週末の仏画曼荼羅アートの泉佐野教室では、前回の課題が和紙(A3)を横に「日天」と「月天」を両側の端に描き、中央のスペースはそれぞれの想いや心情を現す何かを表現するというものだった。
日天・月天の仏画は、色彩の濃淡はそれぞれ異なるものの素晴らしい仕上がりだった。
しかしながら、見ての通り(写真)お一人は円相を描き、白隠禅師の言葉を賛に、自身の想い表現されていた。それ以外の方たちは空白のままだった。

確かに、自由に表現するように、といわれても難しい。それでも皆さんがいろんなことを想像し頭に描いたものを表現できたらいいな～、と思っている。
少しずつではあるが理解していただけるようになってきた。私も嬉しいが、描いているご本人たちが想像するおもしろさや楽しさを実感し、それを表現できるようになったら、さらに一段階上がる。

Certainly, it is difficult to say that you can express yourself freely. Still, I wish everyone could imagine various things and express what they had in mind.
Little by little, I've come to understand it. I'm happy, but if I can realize the fun and fun that the people who draw it can imagine and express it, they will take it one step further.
