やま　の

The high, high mountain

ちょうじょう　まで

のぼったよ

I climbed up to the very top

やっと　たどりついたけど

つぎは　あのヤマに　いこうかな

I finally got to the top

I wonder if I should go to the next mountain

・・・でも　よく　かんがえたら

そのまえに　このヤマをおりないと

...but then I thought about it

I first need to go down this mountain

せっかくのぼった　ヤマだけど

イマきたヤマをおりないと

I climbed up all the way to the mountain, but I have to go down again

のぼる　ときより

たいへんだ

It's harder to go down than to climb up

ずっと　ちょうじょう

に　いたいけど

I wish I could stay at the top all the time

つらくても　ちゃんと

おりないと

I have to go down even if it's hard

ひっしの　おもいで

かくごして　ようやくタニにきたけれど

With much desperation I climbed down and finally got to the valley but

ここは　タニぞこ

ふりだしだ

it's the bottom of the valley and now I am back to the beginning

２どめのケシキは

ちがうかな

Maybe this time, the view would be different

またフモトから

さんちょう　めざす

I am trying to get to the top again from the bottom of the mountain

やっと　たどりついたけど

そのケシキには　つぎのヤマ

I finally got to the top but all I see is the next mountain

また　あるきだそう　タニまでおりて

ツギのミネ　に　たどりツクまで

Let's walk again

Down to the valley till we reach the next mountain top
