｢大人になった時に、懐かしく、思い出に残る味であってほしい｣
商工会のお母さん達のそんな願いから生まれた龍ケ崎市のご当地グルメ｢龍ケ崎コロッケ｣。コロッケフェスが開催されるなど町おこしのシンボルとなった龍ケ崎コロッケが、子供たちは大好きだった。ある日子供たちは、八坂神社で出会った謎の女性がくれた不思議なクレヨンを使い、大好きな龍ケ崎コロッケをモチーフに怪獣の絵を描いた。これじゃ怖くない、もっと強そうなほうがいい、などと言い合いながら、自由にクレヨンを走らせる子供たち。その時不思議なことが起こった。謎の光が完成した怪獣の絵に降り注いだかと思うと、二体の怪獣が絵から飛び出して実体化したのだ。驚いた子供たちだったがすぐに怪獣たちと仲良くなり、二体の怪獣「コロ」と「ゴロッケン」は子供たちの秘密の友達として受け入れられた。
やがて子供たちは大きくなり、龍ケ崎の街を離れていったが、コロとゴロッケンは彼らが帰ってくるのを待ち続けていた。時は流れ、社会は不安な時代に突入した。終わりの見えない不況、環境問題、少子高齢化…世に満ち始めた負のエネルギーを浴び続けたゴロッケンは凶暴化し、巨大な怪獣となって街を襲い始めた。自分の、そして友達の故郷を守るため、兄弟ともいえる巨大なゴロッケンに小さな体でたった一人立ち向かうコロ。
『まだわからないのか。あいつらはもう帰ってこない。オレたちは、この故郷まちは忘れられたんだ！』
『きっと帰ってくる…ボクはみんなを信じる！』
その時、竜ケ崎駅に降り立った若者たちが、八坂神社に集結。ゴロッケンを鎮めるべく、無形文化財「撞舞」を舞い始めた…！

A recession with no end in sight, environmental problems, a declining birthrate and an aging population...Gorokken continues to be bathed in the negative energy that has begun to fill the world, turning violent and starting to attack the city as a giant monster. In order to protect her hometown and her friend's hometown, Koro stands alone with a small body against a giant Goroken that can be called a brother.
