I have a philosophical interest in translation.
I would like to research what it means to have the same meaning between 2 languages.
This would mainly concern ‘interlingual translation’, which is translation between languages.

Why is communication between languages possible?
Why do so many languages exist?
Why do people use such confusing communication styles, i.e. systems consisting of several languages?

I would like to learn about these things professionally while developing my career as a translator.
