I'm interested in corpus-based translation studies.
One approache is to use the tools and techniques of monolingual corpus.
Mona Baker, a translation scholar, identified typicalities of the translated texts using corpus.
She suggested the following features:
-explicitation
-grammatical standardization
an increased frequency of common words
