Translation Studies Diary of 5 July, 2024

Having written the diary so far, I am astonished that I have featured only male academics, but perhaps this is no coincidence.
Men are often more successful at authoritativeness, and this has historically been done socially through the use of violence and physique.

I want to dilute authority.
I want to make a conscious effort to take up women translation scholars.
