手記20240614

　あいかわらず眠気にまったく勝てない。今日は私用で移動する時間が長く、電車やバスに乗っている間はほとんど座席で寝ていた。眠気と争う気も無い。眠いと感じたらすぐに寝ている。
　明後日には新しいバイトが始まる。わたしは中年の現在に至るまで脈絡の無い転職を繰り返してきた中でもほとんどバイトでしか雇用されたことが無く、今後もどこかに雇用されるとしてもそういう悲惨な状況が続くだろう。いよいよどこにも雇用されなくなったらその時は妻とともに餓死する時なのだと思う。十分以上に生きたと感じているので死ぬこと自体はかまわないのだが死に伴う苦痛と恐怖は歓迎する気にならない。もっとも生きることに伴う苦痛と恐怖も歓迎する気にならないのにしょっちゅう訪れるので、苦痛や恐怖のほうはわたしの意思や態度など知ったことではないようだ。

詩題『A Parade under the Sun』

The parade is coming
With many colorful prides and wills
In this town we have no bell to ring
So we will welcome them by the song from the hills

The sun, the moon, the stars in the sky
Sometimes they are pitiless but they have no reason to lie
How will the people of the parade feel
To see this town has nothing to steal

In fact the parade has been going on
Long before the people come
Under the sky we have lived like gods of destruction
And like scum

It is too late
No matter how many words we have to decorate
We have abused and killed the weak ones just for fun
Nowhere to run

The parade is coming to kill us all
