くちばしの赤いのが親で、黒っぽいのが子どもです。絶滅したと思われていたタカへは、1948年に南島の谷の奥で生息しているのが見つかりました。保護区で数を増やすプロジェクトが続いています。南島のダニーデンのオロコヌイ・エコサンクチュアリで撮影しました。

The one with red beak is the parent and the blackish one is the child. They are takahes, which were thought to be extinct until they were found living in a remote valley on the South Island in 1948. A project to increase their numbers in a sanctuary is ongoing. This photo was taken at the Orokonui Ecosanctuary in Dunedin, South Island.
