    Anon hangs on a smartphone from a distance.

    Anon goes away from Michio.

    Kanna Kadota comes out as Anon goes in, and then Michio staggers about it.

    Michio gets back to his chair supported by the nurse.

    Kanna begins to cry.

    Kanna cries.

                  this audition. I wanted to be an actress a long time ago. But I
                  didn't have much chance to do it, because I took care of you.

    The nurse comes to the room.

     Nurse:    It's TV time.
  Mother:    I hate to hurt. Hey, I hate it.

    Her mother becomes violent to avoid the pain.

     Nurse:    Miss Kanna, please hold her in both arms! It'll be finished
                    soon.

    Kanna holds her mother's hand desperately.

　カンナの隣に「うー、うー、うー」と呻いているカンナの母がいる。そばには「仮面」の応募用紙がある。カンナ、語り始める。

　カンナ：　お母さん、今日、最後の気持ちを振り絞ってオーディションに
　　　　　　応募するよ。ずっと役者になりたくて、お母さんの世話してて
　　　　　　うまくいかなかった

　看護婦がやってくる。

　看護婦：　点滴です。
　　　母：　痛いのやだ、ねえ、痛いのやだ

　母が暴れる。

　看護婦：　カンナさん、お母さんの両手抑えてて！すぐ終わりますからね

　カンナ、必死で母の手を掴む。

NOTES

■　lose one's temper
　「～に激怒する、～でカッとなる」という意味の熟語。get angryがシンプルな表現だが、この場合は満郎が武藤の行動に対して突発的に起こったため、lose one's temperが適している。

■　just a moment
　相手に一定の時間を置いてもらうように頼むときに使う表現。
    ex.  Just a moment. I need to talk to the hospital staff immediately.
　「ちょっと待ってて。すぐに病院の係と話してくるから。」

■　forgive
　カンナの母が足の痛みに耐えきれず、「許して！」と叫ぶforgiveは主に他動詞で「（人・物事）を許可する」という意味。他にallow, permit, excuseなどの関連語がある。
