英語日記（９）

　Yesterday, I had dinner with a girl who was my junior in graduate school. She had recently finished her exams to enter the doctoral program, so I was there to congratulate her on her hard work.

　We booked a table at 5:30 pm and left the restaurant at 7:30 pm. It felt strange to have dinner earlier than usual, but in this day and age, it's no wonder.
