Golf

I like the proverb "practice makes perfect" and I believe that it is true of almost all things. Golf is no exception, of course. I bought a putter at a Roger Dunn yesterday. It is as second-hand one, but its grip fits me and its weight is very natural for me, as if it is a part of my body. It was exactly what I wanted. My boss loves golf and he invited me to play golf in late October 2019. My boss gave me a set of golf clubs he used before, other than putters. I've borrowed a putter from a friend of mine, but I finally have my own. I also bought an indoor putting mat, so I can practice putting every day. I will break 110 soon with this. Usually my boss, my friends and I play golf every Saturday. I'm looking forward to our next golf course. My best score is 122. It's not a good score, but I'm just a beginner in golf, having only practice for 3 months, and my biggest challenge is putting on greens.
Golf is one of the most profound sports. Different from tennis, a ball you hit doesn't move at first, like a stone. 18 holes wait for balls to come in, without running away. Even your competitors who want beat you don't disturb and watch you while you swing (of course, disturbing a player while he/she swing is a serious violation). Though everything around you, even the balls, cooperate with your play, it is very difficult to score under 100 in golf.
I'll practice putting with my putter tonight again.
