機械を描く。～生徒作品紹介～

描くことは、これから生まれてくるであろう作品との対話であると思っています。

自分がキャンバスを支配する権利は、一部の天才にしか許されません。

そしてペンであれ絵筆であれ、その作品に取り掛かった以上は、最後まで誠実に向き合わなければいけません。

かといって、労力や行為そのものに酔いしれるべきではないとも思っています。

少なくともぼく自身は、画家としても講師としても、それを矜持としています。

I think that a drawing is a dialogue　with the work which is created from now on.

The right that oneself controls a canvas is permitted only some geniuses.

And you must face each other faithfully till the last if you start the work even if using pen or paintbrush.

Even so, I think that you should not be fascinated by effort and act itself.

Myself at least I make it selfworth as a lecturer as a painter.
