That night was literally a night to remember.

The tour title was “Mele & Mo`olelo” which means song and story.
He said this time with much smaller venue size than before ( only 400 ppl?!), he wanted to make some difference,
and that was to have a time for welcoming any questions and stories to share from the audience.

I never expected the opportunity like that could happen to me, and raised my hand without any hesitation.
Then what an honor……he let me speak.

What I told him was like…

“I’ve been listening to your music since I was very small and the one who taught me how wonderful and how beautiful it is was my mother. She’s already left me for some years but I still can feel the connection with her through your music. I’m truly grateful for her and also you about it…“

何て幸せなんだろう、、
ケアリィの透き通った目がこちらを見ていて、同じ感情を分かち合っているのがわかった。
一生忘れません、、。

I also asked him his favorite flower, and that is pikake - jasmine which reminds him of his grandmother…

2009年のMiss Aloha Hulaでケアリィのいとこである、Henohea Kane さんのフラが見れたことも本当に嬉しかった。まるで大地や空気そのものが動いてるかのような力があった。

またこのような機会があることを楽しみに私も頑張ろう。
