Although the origin of the Bulldozer goes back many years, it was during World War II that the Bulldozer and Bullgrader becane widely known as a construction machine. Bucyrus-Erie Bulldozers and Bullgraders were among the first pieces of equipment landed by the Marines in many of their invasions of South Pacific Islands. The completeness with which these machines accomplished their mission during these invasions has made contractors, governmental officials, factory management and others, Bulldozer and Bullgrader conscious. In other words, a vast market for these machines has opened - which market is largely attributable to the performance of these machines during the war.

ブルドーザという建設機械が認知されたのはWW2後のことであって、営業諸氏は積極的に市場開拓をしましょうといったニュアンスだろうか。

最もインターナショナル社のトラクタを抱き合わせ販売している機械のセールスマニュアルなので、自社の都合で書かれている部分も割り引いて考える必要はある。
