台湾留学25日目🇹🇼

朝から台中駅付近で客運(高速バス)に乗り換えて、日月潭へ出発。In the morning, transferred to a express bus near Taichung station and departed for Sun Moon Lake.

ルームメイトのダニエルと隣の席になったと思ったら、10分くらいして早くも寝てたから、自分も長旅に備えて寝ることにした。I took a seat next to mt roommate Daniel, but he fell asleep after 10 min. Then I decided to sleep as well in preparation for the long trip.

日月潭がある街に着いた。We arrived at the town locate Sun Moon Lake.

まずは周遊券を購入。これで湖を船で渡って観光ができるようになった！At first, bought a tour ticket. Now we can go sightseeing by boat across the lake.

街は大勢の人で賑わっていた。These streets are crowded with many people.

このカエルは地域の有名なキャラクターなのかな？サービス精神が旺盛だった。I wonder if this frog is a famous local character? He(?) had a great hospitality and gave us high fives!

おしゃれなカフェでお昼にすることになった。It was decided to have lunch at this cute cafe.

コテージからは湖を望めることができ、風が気持ちがいい。You can see the lake from the cottage, and breeze feels nice.

まずはスープとパン。手前のサワークリームにつけて食べると爽やかで美味しかった。I ate soup and bread first. It was refreshing and delicious when eaten with sour cream.

メインはベーコンとサーモンのパスタ。丁度いいくらいにお腹が満たされた。The main dish was pasta with salmon and bacon. My stomach was just the right amount.

それではフェリーに乗船！Set sail!

船内は心地よい揺れで、船長さんがスピーカーでガイドもしてくれた。There was a pleasant sway inside the ship, and the captain also guided us through a loudspeaker.

湖の中央には拉魯島という小島があり、ここに昔から住む部族の聖地らしい。In the center of the lake has a small island called Lalu Island, which is said to be a sacred place for the tribes that have lived here since ancient times.

対岸の港に到着。We reached at the port on the opposite shore.

特産のお茶は売り切れていたので、紅茶を注文したけど、これも美味しかった！The specialty tea was sold out, so I ordered black tea.

ロープウェイ駅に到着！ガラス張りのかっこいい建物だった。The ropeway station was a cool glass building.

ロープウェイでの片道5分ほどの旅は、山と谷を交互に通過して興奮した！The ropeway trip, which took about 5 minutes each way, was exciting as we passed through mountains and valleys alternately!

その一方で、マシューは高い所が怖いようで、全然景色を見る余裕もなくてかわいそうだった笑新たな一面を発見できた！On the other hand, Matthew seemed to be afraid of heights and I felt sorry for him as he didn't have time to look at the scenery at all. I discovered a new side of him!

こちらが上から見た日月潭。独特な湾の形とエメラルドグリーンの水面が本当に綺麗だった。This is from the lake seen from above. The unique shape of the bay and the emerald green water surface were really beautiful.

頂上には、九族文化村という台湾の原住民に関するテーマパークがあったんだけど、閉園間際に来たからまた今度行きたいね。At the top, there was a theme park about Taiwan's aboriginal people, but we came here just before it closed, so I'd like to go back another time.

帰りのロープウェイからは車道も見えて、湖の大きさがよく分かる。From the ropeway on the way back, I could see the road and realize the size of the lake.

ちょうどフェリーに乗った時間帯が夕暮れ時で、エモい雰囲気になった。It was dusk when we boarded the ferry, and the atmosphere was quite emotional.

帰りのバスで爆睡したらいつの間にか駅についてた。夜はライトアップされてて綺麗だった。I fell asleep on the bus on the way home, and before I knew it, I was at the station. There were beautifully lit up at night.

ちょうど駅前でライブがあってて、元吹奏楽部員の血が騒いだ。やっぱり管楽器はいいなぁ。There was a live concert right in front of the station, and my blood was racing as a former brass band member. After all, wind orchestra are good.
