As you may know GLOBAL CROWN is an online English language school operated by HugCome, Inc., for children aged 3-12. Today we want to introduce the detail of our recruitment process with some comments from teacher Yori (Yori sensei). Let's go~!
①Applications screening
Please fill out this application form!
Yori sensei: I don't think you'll have any problems here. However, please notice that the application form is in Japanese!
In this form, we also ask you to measure the transmission rate of your computers. Please read the application form carefully and follow the example💻
②Interview
Yori sensei: My interviewer was really nice and I don't remember anything that offended me😊 I studied the profile of the school and the vision of Hugcome. The most important thing that I did before the interview is to study vision because through this process I can get the whole idea of what that school wants and what kind of teacher they need. Also, I checked if my personal mission matches your school.

③Practical Exam
After the interview, we will provide materials about the detailed curriculum and procedure of the class. Please prepare for the practical exam in line with those materials.
Yori sensei: I've taught kids for more than 10 years, so for me given piece of information was enough. If the applicant is inexperienced in this industry, the practical exam should come after a few days of training. Especially the online teaching of GLOBAL CROWN is only 20 minutes so it has to smoothly flow.
You can choose the schedule of the practical test by yourself, so please let us know when would be convenient for you!
The materials include sample videos of the class. If you have never experienced teaching, please try to get the image through these samples.
④The written exam
Yori sensei: Honestly it was difficult but I wrote it from bottom of my heart…!
Since we are all working online, there are few opportunities for us to talk with our teachers in person😣 Therefore, this written exam is to ensure that each teacher has a proper understanding of the workflow and rules of GLOBAL CROWN. Here we will also provide materials in advance.

Yori sensei: Honestly, whenever I start the class, I feel tired because I come from another work. However, as soon as I start classes with the kids I'm able to make my students motivated and it is fun also for me. At the end of the day, I can feel that it was a good day. I'm satisfied with the support group also, but sometimes it is hard for me to understand your response in Japanese!

Yori sensei: Yes, of course!
Make sure that you love children and you love making fun of yourselves because it is really a part of the job! You have to become a performer like an actor. And you have to change your style depending on the students, you have to be flexible and quick-thinking, making decisions on how to approach the child😊
