英語長文問題：高校入試対策

はじめに

英語の長文読解が苦手な中学生は多いですよね。
ですが、学校の実力テストや高校入試には長文が必ず出てきます。
そこで、中学生向けに英語長文問題を作成しました。全文和訳と解答もつけています。
2-3回繰り返し解いて練習し、長文読解を得意にしましょう！

問題

以下の英語の文章を読み、問題に解答してください。

A Day at the Zoo

Last Saturday, I went to the zoo with my family. It was a bright and sunny day. We arrived at the zoo early in the morning. There were many people, and everyone looked excited.
First, we visited the lion area. The lions were very big and strong. One lion was sleeping under a tree, and another was walking around. They looked very powerful. Next, we went to see the elephants. The elephants were my favorite. They were huge, and they had long noses. We watched an elephant show. The elephants did many tricks, like standing on two legs and spraying water. It was amazing!
After that, we walked to the monkey area. The monkeys were very funny. They jumped from tree to tree and played with each other. One monkey even made a funny face at us. We laughed a lot.
We also saw many other animals, like giraffes, zebras, and kangaroos. The giraffes were very tall, and they ate leaves from the top of the trees. The zebras had black and white stripes. The kangaroos jumped high and fast. It was interesting to see so many different animals.
For lunch, we ate sandwiches and drank juice. We sat on the grass and enjoyed our meal. After lunch, we went to the souvenir shop. I bought a small stuffed elephant as a memory of our visit. My sister bought a monkey keychain.
In the afternoon, we watched a bird show. The birds were colorful and flew very fast. They performed many tricks, like flying through hoops and catching balls. It was very exciting.
We stayed at the zoo until it was time to go home. I had a great time at the zoo. It was fun and educational. I learned a lot about animals and their behaviors. I hope to visit the zoo again soon.(310語)
