Just like our Red room, the Green room has double walls. A box-within-a-box construction for an enhanced sound proofing. 

これでもか!の防音。

さて、遮音材＋セメント＋遮音材、の強固な外壁の内側にもう一枚壁を仕上げます。この壁は木造のフレームに断熱材を詰めて、外側にさらに遮音材パネル、そして内装をドライウォールで仕上げます。

狭いよ、怖いよ。

外壁と内壁の間の５０センチほどの隙間。遮音材パネルを上まで貼り付けるために、職人さんがこの隙間に入って、登って行った！閉所恐怖症の私は見てるのも嫌でした、、。

I'm not looking!

The space between the two walls. The workers went in and up this tight space to put up the sound boards and insulations. It was too claustrophobic to watch!

音害は空からもやってくる。

天井にも遮音断熱材、そしてドライウォール。高く大きな天井にパネルを貼っていくのは苦行そうでした。

Sound panels on the entire ceiling as well.  A super tough work of putting them up beautifully executed by the workers!
