Q. You’ve look changed how does adjust your look on this?
質問：キングスマンのころとルックスもかなり変わっていますが…

T- One of the reason I was so keen to play this role is he’s such a interesting different guy look so different so it’s an opportunity to meet a kind a trying more for little bit.

タロン：エディ役を演じたかった理由として、（キングスマンのエグジーとはまた異なる）独特なキャラクターで、見た目もかなり違うので、チャレンジになると思ったから

H- people say why you look so different and all that but actually even more than that I think any actor know it’s not easy pull off lead and spy action movie then pull off role charming winning goofy funny, very fun round play each one of its own but pull off I can’t think any other actor who can pull off both.

ヒュー：この仕事をしていればわかるけれど、クールなスパイアクション映画の主人公（エグジー）からエディへ、おちゃめでださくて一斉風靡したスポーツマンに変身するのは並大抵じゃない。どちらも魅力的で面白い役柄だが、両方できるのは彼くらいじゃないかな
T-You can do it Hugh!　　タロン：ヒューもいけるよ！
H-That was unconvincing 　ヒュー：本気で言ってないだろ？

Q. It’s based on true story but the coach you played is fictional. How does it work?
質問：ノンフィクション映画だけれど、ヒューの演じるコーチ役はフィクションですね？

H-I think truth we heard Eddie had no full-time coach probably picked up point of number different people as screen write you had a choice of having eleven characters work with Eddie but it doesn’t really work telling story so Yes, my character is completely fictional and we tell the story, a secondary story the main one which is two friends the outside bring at the best each other really in the most important stuff in the movie is true.

ヒュー：事実、エディは専属コーチを雇わなかった。脚本チームはエディを取り巻く11人の関係者に焦点をあてることができたが、それだとうまくストーリー展開ができなかったので、私のコーチ役をつくりあげた。エディとコーチの関係がうまく消化されていくところもストーリーのコアだけれど、一番のポイントは事実に基づく物語である、という点かな

Q.Do you actual ski jumping in the movie or did you have to train or all green special effect or stuntman in your place? (Taron nodding)
質問：スキージャンプについて。トレーニングをしたのか、スタントマンがいたのか、それとも特殊効果をつかったのかな？（何度もうなずくタロン）

T-No green screen we had actually jumped so in order to do that we’re saying in the movie that you have to did everyday from age of 5 or 6 simply not safe to do you’re unless well practiced we had team with incredible ski jumpers too who did jump for us it’s so amazing to watch them. Green screen is minimum.

タロン：特殊効果は最低限におさえていたよ、実際あのレベルのジャンパーになるには映画でも言及しているように5－6歳から練習をはじめる必要があって、危険もつきまとう。僕の代わりに素晴らしいスタントマンたちが撮影に参加してくれた。

Q. I don’t know you guys know American culture but whole parent pushing kids succeed basketball or other sports, can see parent go into the craziness but movie shows function of kind a addict dope but it’s not just winning but it’s something else.
質問：アメリカでは子供たちを英才教育してスポーツの道にすすませる親もいるけれど、この映画では勝つことだけがすべてではないと描いてます。

T-I think it’s really great messages actually Eddie has lots of incredible quality but not pro-ass great scale but he’s very determined passionate so it’s great answer to kids that you don’t’ have to be best at everything it’s about journey rather than destination.

タロン：エディはもちろん才能や自信があって情熱的なひとだけれど、ベストであること、勝つことだけがすべてじゃなく、その先へいくまでの旅路が大事だっていう点では子供たちへの素晴らしいメッセージになると思う。

H- Taron has talent and confidence that I didn’t have at his age. When we working together I am really marveled if director he tells you the truth when Taron was on his he’s passed very first take he was so in groove you seem so effortless.

ヒュー：タロンは私が彼くらいの年にはもちえなかった才能と自信があって、とても感心させられた。監督も知っているけど、かれはゾーンにはいったらさらっと演技をこなしてしまうんだ。

H-I think at the end acting is kind like a dancing you can’t act on your own, its conversation you had be in and to find a way to get on we just did which is lucky.

ヒュー：演技はダンスのようなもので、ひとりでは踊れない。ダンスを通してコミュニケーションをする中で今回の作品はうまく踊れたんじゃないかと思う。

こんな感じです。

実際、マイケル・エドワーズは何度もスキージャンプに失敗し、失敗するたびに話題に上がりファンがふえていったという逸話もあるので、ハルウララを思い出します。50歳をこえたいまでも現役アスリートとして空を飛んでいるエディはどんなふうにカルガリーで愛されたのか、またその後オリンピック協会に閉めだされてしまったのか。映画での描き方が楽しみ。

Q. What do you think it will surprising the audience most about EtE?

質問：EtEをみる観客が一番驚くだろうポイントは？

H-I think I might actually almost bring tear to the eye lot of people
ヒュー：結構、感動するんじゃないかな
T- I hope so 　タロン：そう願うね

H-because it is funny and true it’s way more to that story than I know, really hearting story about the guy who risked it to all to surprise the world it’s kind choked you up little bit.

ヒュー：コメディありのノンフィクションだけど、それ以上のエッセンスがつまっていてい、すべてをかけて世界に挑戦した人間の物語だから、観客は胸をうたれるし、グッとくると思う。

T- I think jumps kind of are very cinematic gold, probably they might be scaled to it that people where anticipate (-predict)

H- Do you use the phrase “Cinematic Gold??” (laugh) Yeah, there is true “Cinematic Gold” in this film I’m starring.

T-I meant ski-jumping which I had little to do.-

H-I think about the title, “Cinematic Gold : Taron Egerton”

T-Oh no Hugh, you made a thing now I totally couldn’t go away with that!

この部分、人によって使い方がバラバラだから、Cinematic Gold含め全体訳が難しいのだけれど、Cinematic Gold = 世紀の瞬間、最高の瞬間、映画史にのこる作品、名場面、など作品自体や一部を切り取っていうことがあるのね。

”My Cinematic Gold” is Titanic,. Or “I’m flying, JACK!” とか。サッカーで言う「値千金のゴール」みたいな感じ。後半はこの大仰な表現”Cinematic Gold” でエディのジャンプをあらわしたタロンに、ヒューがツッコミいれてます。「じゃこういうタイトルはどう？“世紀の瞬間：タロン・エジャートン”」「やめてよヒュー！」（赤面）というのがラストのやりとりかな。要はエディ・ザ・イーグルの伝記タイトルとかけて、からかっているのです…たぶん。
