think need stopあたりをご紹介。意外に少ない。

1.think

think back 
= try to make an effort to remember things happened in the past time.

I thought back to the time in 1975 when my son was desperately ill.
私は、1975年に息子が絶望的な病気になったときのことを思い出しました。

思い出すつながりで、think backのかわりにcome to mindとは言えるのか？

ニュアンスかわるみたいです。

“I thought” implies active intention. Like you remembered the memory of your sick son on purpose. 

“It came to mind” is more passive. Like the thought came to you for no reason. Or you a thought was involuntarily triggered by something. 
Like say you were concentrating at work and then you smell cookies someone brought in. And the smell triggers a memory of childhood. 

think out = you consider all the aspects and details of it before doing anything or making a decision

I need time alone to think things out.
私は物事をじっくり考えるために一人の時間が必要だ。

think something over 
= you consider it carefully before making a decision

She said she needs time to think it over.
彼女は、よく考える時間が必要だと言っています。

think up = you invent it using mental effort

Julian has been thinking up new ways of raising money.
ジュリアンは、新しい資金調達の方法を着想しました。

2. need

if need be = you mean that you will do if it is necessary.

I'll work all night if need be.
必要であれば徹夜してでも仕事をします。

if need beは、何の略ですか？

3. stop

stop off somewhere
= you stop for a short time in the middle of a journey

The president stopped off in Poland on his way to Munich for the economic summit.

put a stop to something = you do not like or approve of, you prevent it from happening or continuing

His daughter should have stood up and put a stop to all these rumors.

pull out all the stops = you do everything you can to make something happen or succeed.

New Zealand police vowed yesterday to pull out all the stops to find the killer.

stop at nothing to get something = you are emphasizing that they are willing to do things that are extreme, wrong, or dangerous in order to get it.

Their motive is money, and they will stop at nothing to get it.
