Beyond Nations, Hibakusya Tells "75 Years from Atomic Bombing" Dr.Soko DAY50/50

We Have not Done It Yet

If we, citizens don't speak out our questions, the development of modern technology  will be incredibly fast going. There are more than 14,000 nuclear bombs in the world now, and more recently nuclear weapons are developed smaller. It seems that some countries are competing to own smaller scaled nuclear missile. That means, in the near future it could be possible to carry a nuclear weapon in a suitcase and be used for terrorism unless we speak out and act to refuse the development.

In addition, chemical and bacterial weapons are manufactures that cause human suffering, killing or illness. Children, in particular, are more physically affected than adults.

We citizens have not stopped the development of modern terrible weapons yet.

What do those people who have lost their exposure to those days, and the survivors who are still feeling the experience of being exposed to the atomic bomb, feel today?

What exactly do the four boys feel about this situation and what do they want to convey to our citizens?

How would the atomic bomb Hibakusya who died at the time, and Hibakusya telling their experiences feel about the modern situation?

How do the four boys feel about this situation and what do they want to convey to us? The children were fine humans supporting their friends. The four boys were in Tenjin-Town. I think, one of children lived in Tenjin-Town was able to go to see his mother and older sister if he wanted to do so. But he had such a caring conscience, so he made his mind to stay with his friends who was not able to come back to their family. Wars are to kill such compassionate children.

Human conscience beyond countries,      Human behavior beyond countries

There are some countries with nuclear weapons and some without. It means a lot to prevent a country not having nuclear weapons from owning it. However, at the same time, we need to have great patience in allowing existing countries to accept the destruction of nuclear weapons. I admit that it is very difficult to find a way to do so.

But what about the individual's mind?

Whether we are a citizen of a nuclear-weapon state or not, the overwhelming experience of the A-bomb survivors shakes our mind. The damage of nuclear weapons is so bad, so devastating on human body and mind. As a human being, every single human feels their heart ache listening to the experience of the hibakusha.

We live in a different country, but we are same human-beings. We have the same conscience to hope the peace. Which country you belong to is irrelevant. Irrelevant to your country is a nuclear power state or not, we can show our actions with our free will,

"Against Nuclear weapons" , "Against Chemical weapons",  "Against War"

We can express our will, as a human-being.

I, as a Human-Being

Like that day, I don't want to hurt my families in war. I don't want to hurt even a single child. I don't want to hurt the soldiers in my country. I don't want to use pure science-loving scientists and doctors  for wars and hurt their hearts. That's because I am a human being.

Therefore, as a human, I oppose the war.

Therefore, as a human, I tie with the world.

Therefore, as a human, I swear keeping peace.

(On August 6th, Atomic Bomb Day of Hiroshima, by SOKO)
