最近、稲藁で堆肥にする方法を考えています。
Recently, I have been thinking about how to use rice straw for compost.

以前の記事で猫ちぐらにハマっているとかきましたが、その際に出るもみがらや皮の処分方法に困っていました。
In a previous article, I mentioned that I was into catnip, and I was having a hard time finding a way to dispose of the rice husks and peels that come out of the process.

まだ使っていない畑に漉き込んで埋めることにしました。しかし、そのままでは繊維が硬すぎてなかなか分解されない。
I decided to strain them into a field that I have not yet used and bury them. However, as it was, the fibers were too hard and would not break down easily.

調べると石灰窒素や米ぬかが効果的らしい。
I researched and found that lime nitrogen and rice bran are effective.

今日余った稲わらを堆肥にしようと思います。
I will compost the extra rice straw today.
