DMM英会話を2023年1月から始めた人の復習note
聞き取れなかった部分をレッスンの録音機能で聞き返したり、気になった部分をメモ
【2023.05】#59〜61
●後から後から修飾していく感覚をちょっとずつ身に付けたい
洋書でそういう文の構造を「読む」ことには慣れたけど、喋りはまだまだ…と言う感じ涙
●フレーズで覚えるために、メモった文や例文を何度も口に出す
●It's evident that you've been practicing a lot, and it's paying off.
（講師の方からのメッセージのこの一文が嬉しかった😭）
最近特に対面のスクールの方で進歩がない感じがしてたけど、また力湧いた
○復習追いつかなくなってきた！！！
ので、#56〜58は1回飛ばして直近のレッスンから立て直してしっかり復習する〜

前回のレッスンでスタンディングデスクの話をして「実はたまに立ったままレッスン受けてた」と言う話をしたら、レッスン開始早々に「今日は座ってるね！？でしょ！？」って言われた😂笑
【メモ】
●I recently added a headrest to my chair.
●It's just that my hair color blends in with the color of the headrests, making them invisible.
（髪短く切った？？と聞かれて、ヘッドレストの色に溶け込んで見えなくなってるだけだよ〜とふにゃふにゃ伝えたけどなんとか伝わってたみたい笑）
●I take it that you have very good posture when you sit.
ー座っているときの姿勢がとても良いということですね。
○"I take it〜"っていう言い回し使いやすそう…！！！
（姿勢を"form"と言ってしまった）
●The new Zelda game came out today, so I spent a few hours playing that.
●Do most people in the Philippines always have something special planned for Friday night?
●That sounds very Friday night.

【発音怪しい単語】
profit, period, dollars, million, console, period
Horizon, copies, allow, billion, drop, previous
ぜーーーーんぶ "o"の発音間違い😂
ターゲット1900の単語覚える時に発音記号も確認してるけど "o"の発音がそのまんまローマ字読みの「オ」である事の方が少ない気がしてきてる…
これはマジで典型的日本人的発音ミスあるあるなんだろな…多分…
【ディスカッションのメモ】

It's obvious you've been practicing a lot, and it's paying off.
ってレッスン後のコメントに書かれていてなんか、謎に嬉しくて泣きそうになった！笑
（ある程度講師の方も定型分的なの用意して使いまわしてるとは思うけど…それでもなんか刺さった…）
いつもチャットも使って丁寧に言い回しをどんどん教えてくれてすごく勉強になる…
【メモ】
●I was able to (actually) use the expressions taught in Exercises 1 and 2 at the end.
●練習問題1、2で教わった表現を最後の問題で実際に使うことができた
それを他のレッスンでもさらっと言えるようになりたいな〜
●前よりは減ったけど、やっぱり"a"抜けは相変わらず…
●"and"言い過ぎーーーーー！
（並列で並べたい時＋文の合間の繋ぎとして必要以上に言ってしまう）

後出しでどんどん修飾していくスピード感に慣れたらこういう言い方もできるようになるかな…
元：There is a cat which has gray fur on the table and behind it there is a doctor who is wearing blue uniform. She is checking the cat and touching it. Its owner worried about the cat's health problem so the owner take it to the hospital.
↓
There is a gray-furred cat on the table with a veterinarian in a blue uniform standing behind it. The vet(veterinarian) is examining the cat and touching it while the owner is concerned/worried about the cat's health. It seems like the owner has taken the cat to the animal clinic for a check-up.
前回同じ講師の方のレッスンで写真描写をやったときに、動物の毛皮の色を言う時"fur"（"coat")って言ってたな…！と思い出して言えて良かった。
元：There is a girl who is wearing pink clothes and put colorful ribbon on her head. She is holding white-furred rabbit. The girl put a pink and blue ribbon the rabbit. She is sitting on a grass. I can see many green behind her. Also there are some white flowers around them.
↓

問1の方で講師の方は"gray-furred"という言い方をしてたから2の方では咄嗟にその言い方に変えれた
（時間余ったから、他のレッスンで時間足りずにし損ねたやつを）
元：There is a girl who is wearing white dress and (she is) holding a basket. Six eggs are put on them(?) and these eggs are yellow and green and blue orange and yellow. She prepared these eggs for easter and she standing in greenery alone.
↓
There is a girl wearing a white dress and holding a basket with six colorful eggs: yellow, green, blue, and orange. She has prepared these eggs for Easter and she is standing alone in a greenery.
●かごに卵が入ってるというのを"eggs are put on them"(?)と言ってたけど、"eggs in the basket"でいいね…
並列でいくつかこれとこれと〜…って言いたい時、ぜーーーんぶ"and"で繋げてしまうーーーー（言ってる途中で気づくけど、最初に"and"って言ってしまった時点で戻れなくなってしまう笑）
andは最後だけでそれまではコンマで繋げるんだ…

○セルビアの男性講師の方と
レッスン開始直後に家族が帰宅して、なぬ！！！と自室の外の気配を気にしながら笑
けど気が散ってた分、文法を頭の中でこねくり回す前に適当にパッと英語を口に出すことが出来た…普段、考えすぎだったのかもしれない…
全神経集中させて一生懸命喋る！！！じゃなくて、もう少し適当に喋っても良いのかも
レッスン終わりに、もうちょっと上のレベルの記事を選んで良いと思うよ！って言われて嬉しかったけど…ほ、ほんと…？？？汗
そして、講師の方の自己紹介早口で聞き取れない部分あったから聞き直してみたら、めっちゃ…え！？！？ってことをさらっと言っていた…つ、ツッコミたかったーーーーー笑
今度レッスン取る時は詳しく聞いてみよう😂
適宜言い回しをチャットで教えてくれたしすごく良い先生だった…
重要なことやおもろいことをさらっっっと言ってくる…
【メモ】

ーここで言うのはやめておきますね
（言い方柔らかくするための助動詞もうちょっと柔軟に使いたい…）
●I know how hard this kind of business can be.
●Sometimes very busy, sometimes fun to work with.
ー時にはとても忙しく、時には楽しいこともある
「質問ありますか？」の返答が毎回同じ
Do you have any questions?と聞かれて、特に質問がない時は
いっつも"I'm OK."って言ってるからレパートリー増やすべく調べた
●Not, so far.（今のとこは無い）
●Not right now.（今は無い）
●Everything's clear.（よくわかりました）
●I understand very well.
●It’s all right.（大丈夫です ≒ "I'm OK."）
この辺言いやすそう。口に慣らしていくぞ〜！
【ディスカッションのメモ】
（北海道の話）
●I have never been anywhere abroad.
（"any〜"の単語は"any"にアクセントつけた方が良さそう）
●The seafood I had on my trip to Hokkaido last year / was the best seafood I have ever had.
●I have never tasted sea urchin as good as in Hokkaido.
●I had only had sea urchin once before, but I had never eaten so much in a bowl before.
ー丼であんなにたくさん食べたのは初めてだった
●Hokkaido is very large and I was only able to visit a small part of it on my last trip, so I would like to visit another place someday.
（外食や自炊の頻度について）
●I always buy lunch at a local bento shop.
ー近所の弁当屋さん（"lunch box"って言ったけど"bento"で通じるらしい…）
●I usually eat out whenever I want.
ー好きな時に外食してる
●When I want to rest or refresh myself, I go to a cafe to eat something sweet and read.

卵を調理してたらキッチンが燃えたことがあって、料理しなくなったわ！的なことをさらーーーっっと言われて、聞き直したら冗談ではなくガチだった…"Demon Slayer"の炎みたいだった！と言われてその時はゲームか何かのキャラ？と思ったけど鬼滅のことかーーー！
●This was a chance for my mother and me to try a new restaurant.
●It is made by wrapping ingredients and sushi rice in seaweed. And you have to do it yourself.
誕生日に手巻き寿司を食べた話をした
●There is no need to use fire, just roll it in seaweed!
自分で作るの！？じゃあ僕には向いてないわ！！って言われたので、火は使わないから大丈夫（？）的なことをうにゃうにゃ伝えた
●I think something harder definitely is more challenging for you and more suitable for your current.
励まされたりすると普通に嬉しくてやる気出るなぁ…😭
