聞き取れなかった部分をレッスンの録音機能で聞き返したり、気になった部分をメモ

●覚えたての単語をもっと使っていくように意識していきたい
●5月は仕事をしない分、できるだけ毎日レッスン受けたいな〜
（疲れたりダレたりしない程度に）
●極端に会話に詰まることは無くなってきたけど、気を引き締めた方がいい気がしている今日この頃…
（と思い、後に初スピーキングテストを受けたけどそれは改めて）

○フィリピンの男性講師の方と
めちゃくちゃ話しやすかった…！
#46でちょっと不完全燃焼だったのでまた同じ記事で。
普段のレッスンでは極端に会話が詰まることは無くなってきたけど、もっと自然に、もしくはさらに具体的に話せるようになるために気を引き締めた方がよさそう
記事についての話はできてるけど、やっぱりまだ表面的な易しい話しかしてないというのはわかる…日常会話なんて実際そういうものか…とも思うけど、やっぱりカタコト英語には変わりない…
スラングについての記事だったので、「おk」「り」「マジ」の話をした😂
【メモ】
●I'm taking a long vacation now that I've settled down at work.
（仕事が落ち着いたので）
○a day off / a month off
●I don't have any specific travel plans yet.
●The summer season even it's hot. It's still the better time to be riding the bicycle since you don't get wet.
○singular / plural ー 単数形 / 複数形
【ディスカッションのメモ】
●I know the expressionusing "As if" in a sentence, but I didn't know it could also be used as slang on its own (by itself).
○masculine ー（形）男らしい
○feminine ー（形）女性らしい
○peer ー（名）仲間、同僚
記事で紹介されていた"As if!" や "Whatever!"は講師の方的には男性より女性がよく使ってる気がするとのこと。90年代スラングはドンピシャ学生時代だったようで詳しかった…！（他の国ではどうかわからないけど…とも）
アメリカのドラマとかではどんな感じで使われるのかも見てみたいな〜
●I buy vintage clothes sometimes, and those are mostly from the 90's.
●It could come back after a few years, right?
→服の流行について
●We don't use that slang verbally.（口頭では使わない）
●It can be used for both (either).
→「マジ」は！か？どっちで使うの？と聞かれた
●I don't watch too many old movies, but I do watch a lot of movies set in the 90's.
→「90年代が舞台の」映画って何て言えばいいんや！？になった…
●That’s worth it since after the busy days, you'll be able to relax for a few days.
#48 フリートーク
○フィリピンの大学生講師の方と（3回目）
初回の体験レッスンと、その後1回レッスン受けた後しばらく予約枠を開いてなくて、もしかして辞めちゃった…！？他の仕事に就いたのかな…元気かな…と1ヶ月程（最近いないなぁ…）と気にしていたけど、突如また再開していた！！！！嬉しくてすぐにフリートークで予約した😂
相変わらず、なんて優しくてかわいい好青年なんだ…
この講師の方とのフリートークは本当に楽しい
終始会話はスムーズにできた気は…する…けど、（えっこれってなんて言ったらいいんだ…！？日本語だとこんなに簡単なのに…）ということが常にちょいちょい発生して頭はずっと回転している…ゆっくりシンプルな言い方でなんとか意思疎通はできてもやっぱり悔しい…Broken English…
【フリートークのメモ】
●I've been on a long vacation just recently.

「先日、仕事が一段落したところです」
→前回の授業でもうまく言えなかったところ…復習間に合わず〜
●You have cat ears on it.
（猫耳ついてる！）
●So even when you're not working on vacation, it's good that you're still practicing English.

●You thought I completely quit being a tutor.
●Is it for study abroad or just a move?

●If I were to study in that country, I've been told that most of host families would be from Asia.

● Lately I've been watching a drama called “YOU” on Netflix.

レッスン終わりの挨拶メモ
● Time flies so fast.
→時間が経つのは早いですね（flyなんだ…！！）
● It’s fun to see you again.
→また会えるのが楽しみです
【海外旅行について】
● I'd like to travel abroad someday, but I've never really thought about where I'd like to go.
→どこに行きたいかまではあまり考えたことがない
（こんな感じなせいで、いつもレッスンで海外旅行の話にあまり食い付けない…でも本当に行きたい気持ちだけは…ある…）
● Japan has a limited season for going to the beach.
→海に行ける時期が限られてる
● America has a scary image because of various dramas and movies.
● The city looks attractive and very different from Japan.

【仕事と休みについて】
レッスン初めに、最近はどう？みたいな会話から入ることが多いから、仕事が落ち着いたので長い休みを取るよ〜という報告から最近入りがち…そして講師陣全皆全肯定してくれる😂
日本人は働きすぎてる人が多いと思う！休みは大事だよ！って…だよね！！
● I'm going to my parents' house for GW, and then I'll be off for the rest of May.
→ GWは実家に行き、その後5月いっぱいはお休みです。
● I've been very busy for a few months, so I'll be taking a lot of timeoff to make up for it.
→その分たくさん休みを取ろうかと
● I'll lose income, but I still want to take a break when I can.
● Money is how the world revolves.
→お金で世界は回っている
● You deserve to have it. Maybe you deserve to treat yourself go on vacation.

● Don’t get over stressed by work.

● I enjoy painting outside of work very much these days, so I feel more positive about painting than before.
【ぬいぐるみ/編み物】
レッスンの日に一目惚れで買ったぬいぐるみを見せた😂
● I happened to see a stuffed animal while shopping today and fell in love at first sight!
→ 今日、買い物中にたまたまぬいぐるみを見かけて、一目惚れしてしまいました
“stuffed○○”で「詰め込まれた○○」→○○のぬいぐるみ
○ crochet（名）かぎ針編み
○ knitting（名）編み物
● I have a neck warmer that my grandmother knitted for me and I use it every winter for about 5 years.
● But as far as I know, the only person who actually knits is my grandma.
→私の知る限り（知る範囲では）私のおばあちゃんだけ（くらい）です
"and"と主語の省略
●I hadn't seen you around lately and was wondering if you were busy with college or if you had already graduated and gotten another job.
andを主語を省略して繋げていく感じで話せたこと1度もない…
こんな言い方もできるんだな〜と見かけるたびに思うにとどまってた

※ "I am" はセットで、"am" だけが文中に独立して存在することはないらしい

○バングラデシュの大学生講師の方と（3回目）
久しぶりにレッスン枠開いてるのを見て1ヶ月ぶりくらいに！
英語が似合う！！に尽きる…自信を持って堂々と喋れるようになりたいな〜ってこの講師の方のレッスン受けるたびに思う…
まぁ、普段の喋り方や性格の問題もあるけど、自分らしく、自分にちょうど良い明瞭さと自信を持って喋れるようになったら最高だな…1年後くらいにはもうちょっとそこに近づいてるといいな
前回のレッスンはラマダン前だったので、今回は明けた後の過ごし方を聞いた！
【メモ】
●How has your life been?
● I'm really enjoying studying English these days. This is (already) becoming a pleasure of my life now.
→ これはもう、私の人生の楽しみになりつつあります
● You mentioned in our last class that Ramadan starts in two weeks, right?
→前回のレッスンで、2週間後に始まると言ってたよね？
こういう時いつも”You said that”って言っちゃう…
今度は”mention”使って言いたい
● Hope you have an enjoyable college experience.
→ 楽しい大学生活を送れるといいですね

記事通り、チャットGPTについて
うっすい意見しか言えなくて、講師の方がスパっっっと意見を言った瞬間「ご最もです！！！！！」って手のひら返しになった笑
● I think chat GPT is very useful if you use it to get writing tips.
→文章の書き方のヒントを得るためなら〜
● If you want to include more humanity and humor, I'm sure AI will do a good job of capturing your intentions and writing about it.
→AIならきっとうまく意図を汲み取って文章を書いてくれるでしょう
● If you don’t know what you are going to say to the person you’re marrying and going to be with your life, it looks like suspicious.
● It doesn’t have to be the best. It doesn’t have to be grammatically correct, that’s right with you feel.
● When I found out about the chat GPT, I tried it once.
● I wrote the title of my favorite book and asked who this author was, but GPT got it wrong.

● Many teachers find it difficult to determine whether this report was written by a student or an AI.

● And if they find out about it, there are severe penalties.
