DMM英会話を2023年1月から始めた人の復習メモ。
聞き取れなかった部分をレッスンの録音機能で聞き返したり、気になった部分をメモしてます。
【2023.03】#24〜26
・最近知った単語やイディオムを積極的に使うように意識できた
・関係代名詞（that〜等）での修飾をしようとすると、主語が何だったか、何を修飾しようとしていたのかを忘れる😂笑
→これはとにかく慣れるしかなさそう…頭で考えてしまうから喋るのが遅くなって何話そうとしたのか忘れる！

◯セルビア人男性の大学生講師の方と
ゆ〜ったり構えて待っててくれて喋りやすかった。
若い方だったけどそうとは思えない落ち着き感…
そしてとても聞き取りやすかった！録音聴いたら割とスムーズに会話できていた…！
デイリーニュースの記事がSNSのスラングに関してだったので、日本でよく見かけるものとして「w」「笑」「orz」の話をした。
「🙇♂️」の絵文字をチャットで送ったら初めて見た！と言われた😂
「草」の方が意味わかんなくておもろい気がするから、いつかまたこの記事やるときがあったら話してみたい…な…
セルビアでは英語と同じく"LOL"をよく使うらしい
そしてツイッターはマイナーだと思うとのこと笑

◯フィリピン人男性講師の方と（2回目）
DMM始めた直後にレッスン受けた講師の方。
今回も少しお子さんの話をしてくれてほっこり…
初めて「テーマ別会話」の教材を選択。
記事を読む時間が無い分、喋る時間が長い…！！
「記事や人物、物事についてどう思うか」というものが無いから、自分から話題を振ったりと会話を長く続ける練習になった
【メモ】
● I think you have a split off and it's not on weekend.
→週末ではなく分割で（週末以外の日に）休んでるんだね、の意？
●I'm excited to watch it because I heard to be honest, I didn't really have any idea that there's a third movie. So when I heard it from one of my students, I was really surprised.
講師の方が鬼滅の刃の話をしてたけど、今上映してるのって新作映画ではなくTVの総集編ワールドツアー上映？やったような…
↓ to be honest は言いづらいことを打ち明ける時に使いがちだから、ポジティブな話題で「実は〜」と言う時は "Actually,〜"

→ without（〜なしで、〜せずに）と言ってしまいがち…違う…

→仕事が忙しくて、仕事がないと何もできない（になってしまう）

通話越しに犬の鳴き声が聞こえて、そこからペットの話になり、飼い猫が金魚を食べて息子さんが大泣きして…という出来事を話してくれた😂
最近知ったイディオムを積極的に使えた！成長！

◯インド人男性講師の方と（2回目）
1ヶ月ぶりくらい！
話し方が相変わらずクールで落ち着いている〜
結構早いスピードでばーーーっと例えや経験談を話してくれることが多いからめちゃくちゃリスニング頑張らざるを得なくてよき訓練になった…
インドの電車やケンカ事情聞くの面白かった😂
この記事楽しかったし、つい「すみません」と言ってしまう日常の具体例を話したりもできて練習になる。
すぐ「すみません」って言っちゃうの日本だけじゃなかった笑
（インドでは非がないときは「すみません」なんて絶対言わんね！とのこと…）
【メモ】
●Please confirm you can hear me and see me clearly.
→confirm（動）確認、確証する
●For example, let's say in a traffic if somebody the people who are not supposed to walk somewhere.
【ディスカッションの回答の言い換え】
●Canadians usually apologize even though it is not their fault.
●It is not surprising for me because in Japan also we say "sorry" all the time.
●Usually Japanese don't get angry, and even if they do, they don't express it in front of others because they don't want any drama in public.
【インドの「すいません」を言わない文化事情】
講師の方は他の国にも住んでいたことから、適宜謝ることができる（？）とのこと。日本人は「すみません」言い過ぎだけど、まさかここまで正反対な文化もあるとは…
●Because in India saying sorry is considered as being weak.
I mean people do say sorry if somebody acknowledged their mistake, but it is only sometimes visible in a public area, but most of the time people don't say sorry to each other.
●if somebody does a mistake they usually even if they do, they don't accept their mistake.
●Usually they hurt ego when they say sorry.
→謝るということは「自分を」傷つけるということ（なるほど！？）
【インドの電車の乗り方事情】
●People are so used to it that nobody even minds. Nobody get angry.
For example, if I have to catch a train in that way then, I will make me very very angry.
◯nobody even minds→誰も気にしない
●But in India after some people died climbing on top of the train it is not allowed. Before they used to use the steam engine or the diesel engine. But now it is an electric engine so the engines are connected with the electric wire on top. So many people got electrocuted and died.
That's why then government made a law.
●The main thing about Japan is the people have discipline and they respect each other. In India we don't have that unfortunately.

「信じられないかもしれないけど、YouTubeでこれ↑を見たらわかるよ」
言われて、授業後に見た。
SNSでものすごい超満員状態でバスや電車乗ってる人たちの写真見たことあったけど、なんか記憶よりさらに…すごい…
あと、コメント欄がちょっと面白かった笑
日本は日本でいろいろ問題あるから全肯定できるわけではないけど、住みやすい国だな…と最近思う…😂
