乗客からの直接の証言やビデオによると、金曜日の事故で航空機の一部(乗客には民間ジェット機の典型的な内装のように見える胴体プラグ)が、飛行機の上昇中に吹き飛んだという。
空港関係者によると、着陸後に軽傷の状況を調べるため消防が出動し、1人が病院に搬送されたが、重傷は報告されていない。
ボーイングは近年、一連の挫折に直面しており、最も顕著なのは2019年に2件の悲劇的な墜落事故を受け、数十カ国ですべての737 Max機の運航を停止した。
アラスカ航空はボーイング737 Max 9型機18機を検査し、運航に復帰したと発表した。

アラスカ航空は、ボーイング737 Max 9型機の約4分の1が「徹底的な検査」を経て運航に復帰し、残りの検査は「今後数日以内に完了する」と述べた。
この検査は、金曜日の夜の緊急着陸を受けてアラスカ州が同型機の運航を一時的に停止すると発表したことを受けて、またFAA(Federal Aviation Administration/連邦航空局)から全米で特定の737 Max 9型機を停止させて検査するよう命令が出されたことを受けて行われた。

アラスカ航空は声明で、航空機は「徹底したプラグドア検査(in-depth and thorough plug door inspections,)」を経て運航に復帰したと述べた。 「プラグドア(plug door)」とは、航空会社の要求に応じてメーカーが非常口ドアの代わりに設置できる飛行機の胴体の一部を指します。 乗客からの直接の証言やビデオによると、これは金曜日の夜に吹き飛ばされた飛行機の一部で、冷蔵庫ほどの大きさの穴が残ったという。
アラスカ航空は声明で「残りの737-9型機の検査プロセスは数日以内に完了する予定だ」と述べた。 「検査の進捗状況については追加の最新情報を提供する予定です。」
CNNは同航空に対し、「今朝早く」実施されたとする検査が、FAAが命令の一環として義務付けた検査に準拠しているか確認するよう求めた。

そういえば、ドア部分が吹っ飛び、乗客が外に吸い出される映画があった。
アメリカは、マリファナ合法化により、行動が散漫になっているようだ。
即刻、マリファナ非合法化を実行するか、地上を離れる航空サービスを中止にすべきえある。

Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 returned safely to @flyPDX around 5 p.m. local time on Friday, Jan. 5, after the crew reported a pressurization issue. The aircraft was traveling to @flyONT in California. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate.
