How we spend Christmas

My husband and I live in Japan, so we celebrate Christmas like how most people in Japan celebrate it. My husband is American and he did have different celebration than we usually see here in Japan.

Christmas in the United States is more like holidays of New Year's holidays in Japan. All the family members gather and have a feast on the day. Most people usually prepare presents by the Christmas tree and also open them up on the day.

What my husband and I do for celebration is have a Christmas cake and special dinner for us. It's just as the same as most Japanese people do. We are lazy for each other to prepare presents these days. It depends on the Christmas day is the weekend or not. This year, the 24th is Saturday. I am planning to bake pizza for our dinner. I also made reservation for the Christmas cake that day.

It's already getting cold this month. I wonder if we will have snow on Christmas. Will it be actual white Christmas? Most years, it snows heavily around the end of the year. We can't predict the weather though.

I hope everyone will enjoy Christmas with their family and friends.
