To improve my writing skills

I am reading a book by Kindle Unlimited about writing skills. The book title and reference by James M. Vardaman are at the bottom of this note.

Reading from the beginning of this book, I thought I could change and improve my English sentences. I always have considered how I can use various expressions. Improving my vocabulary skills is not the only way. My writing style or every sentence seems to be in one pattern. 

For instance, starting a sentence with "I - ". I knew I was writing many sentences in that way, so I was trying to be careful. However, it is difficult to change the sentence differently. This book helps me to think of different ways of writing a sentence.

You can rephrase the sentence by changing the subject. Making a sentece with inanimate subject is a feature of English. It's difficult to translate this type of sentence from English to Japanese and vice versa. 

I will continue reading this book and try to improve my writing skills.
