Assassination attempt (暗殺未遂)

9月15日トランプ氏が2度目の暗殺未遂にあった。7月13日にも銃撃され負傷したばかりだったので、2か月間に2回も暗殺未遂にあったことになる。今回トランプ氏への発砲はなく、けがもなかった。

トランプ氏がゴルフ中、コースから約370~460m離れた茂みの中のフェンスからライフルの銃口が出ているのをシークレットサービスが発見し発砲。男は車で逃亡したが、高速道路で拘束された。拘束されたのはライアン・ウェズリー・ラウス容疑者（58）。
